We've been at The Brooklyner for a few months, and so far we love it. We had a few little glitches with our new apartment which the management took care of quickly. The immediate neighborhood is very safe since there is lots of NYPD/Metrotech/NYU security all around. The building staff is great and all are very friendly. There's lots of public transportation nearby which is a huge advantage. The amenities are nice, and we're looking forward to the backyard and roof deck opening up later this summer. The neighborhood took a bit of getting used to. You need to know where you're going, and pretty much everything good is a 5-10 minute walk away. The building has a fridge to store FreshDirect deliveries since there aren't any good supermarkets nearby.
