The elevator situation should be illegal. A 21 story building with 1 "working" elevator that is down several times a week... meaning 0 elevators in a 21 story building with 300 apartments. No-one seems to care that tenants are regularly stranded in the elevator or people are stuck in their apartments/lobby waiting for it to be "fixed" again. No sense of urgency in getting it fixed or acknowledgement from management.

Construction is still in place therefore amenities, new laundry room and elevators are still not ready. But everybody is super nice and doing their best to please all tenants. It'll be awesome when it's done :) Location is premium and the views are to die for!

I lived here a few years ago. Looking back it was my favorite apartment in Manhattan. I've since moved on from the city but looking for an apartment in a new city reminded me how much I enjoyed living here. Why? They apartments were so well maintained by Joe, the super. He was always available to tend to something that needed repair. The doormen, porters and handymen were the best I had in all my apartments living the city. So friendly and helpful. I always felt comfortable coming home. To me, that's hugely important, especially in such a big city. The apartments themselves are OK but expensive. The finishes were fine. Not super-modern but current and updated. The only negative element was that it was hit or miss with neighbors. You could have friendly, nice, quiet and respectful neighbors, often young couples or families. Or you could get multiple people sharing an apartment who were noisy, partied all the time and left beer bottles in the elevator. But that's what city living is in Murray Hill. If your neighbors were normal, you wouldn't have any issues. I loved living here and wish I could find that experience in my new city.

I have lived in this building for a few years now and am sad to report it has gone downhill. We must now deal with mice in the building. And about a year ago, we had a fire caused by a drunken/stoned resident. This used to be a great building but, over the last 5 years, management has rented to people who simply don't care about it. There have also been several security breaches due to the poor design of the lobby. The doorman cannot see anyone entering from the back door which is left open often for delivery and moving men.

We have an apt facing 34th street so it's a bit noisy at times. Otherwise it seems like a very nice place to live. Nice superintendents and doorman. Young, friendly residents. Close to everything! No place to park.

This is a pretty nice bulding. It is always kept clean, and it is pretty quiet, though you do sometimes hear people in the hallway. The tenants here are very young though. I often hear the few older residents joking about how this building is more like a dorm than anything else. The doormen are very nice, but they will stand with their hands in their pockets watching you struggle with packages to get out of a cab. All repairs are made promptly, and overall the place is pretty good. Parking is terrible here, but that's the neighborhood, not the building...
