Unit B43 Pros: Quiet, well kept, safe feeling, super helpful and friendly, old building but apartments are well kept and updated. The super responds when there are issues. No Laundry in the building but the laundromat is just downstairs. Lots of families live there. Cons: Old building so it does have some issues. Walk up building (I have lived on the 4th floor for 10 years! Noisy at times on the block and a lot of double parking.

Unit F2 Pros: Super is very responsive and will fix anything asap. Nice renovations. Close to A and 1 train. Always felt safe in this area. Lived in Inwood for 4 years. Cons: No laundry in the building. The lobby could also smell ungodly at times. These are picky. We had a great experience living here.

Pros: Great location near A and 1 line of the subway, and near bus lines to Bronx and lower Manhattan. Near parks and restaurants. Beautiful courtyard. Cons: Dirty common areas, porters rarely ever sweep or mop lobby and stairway, super won't fix things untill you call 311, huge cockroach problem. Advice to landlord: Please ensure quality standards if cleanliness in common areas, lobby and stairway should be swept and mopped twice a week, send pest control to each apartment on a monthly basis.

Pros: Gigantic 1BR Apartment Gorgeous Courtyard Cons: Management is unresponsive and doesn’t care about you. They take forever to fix anything and have to be asked a half a dozen times to even think about doing it. Advice to landlord: Care more about your tenants that care about the apartment that they call home.

Pros: Newly remodeled apartment at the time Beautiful room doors Nice looking building with trees and gardens Never had any mail/packages stolen! Super nice building staff/super Conveniently located ( a train , blocks from 1 train) In unit dishwasher Target, Starbucks, rite aid, fire stationwere all close by Pre-COVID times: fun bars, lounges to hit up for a nice night out Rent stabilized Cons: Walk up only (5th floor = torture) No In unit laundry We had a peeping Tom incident Bathroom shower would clog up every few months Drug dealers will huddle up and hangout at building garden entrance (they left you alone but were intimidating to walk past as a female) Lots of road racing Lots of loud music at ungodly hours - tho fun in the summer Water pressure was dismal for most of the 3 years Mice problem that took forever to fix because staff kept finding holes in wall behind appliances (contractor from previous renovation was lazy) Advice to landlord: If newer apartments could get in unit washer dryers! We don’t have an elevator nor a laundry in unit that’s like lose/lose situation or even in the building somewhere bc that laundry mats are two blocks away!
