I've lived here since 2021. The best thing about living in this house is that it's very safe, the neighbors are friendly, and the building is well-maintained and clean. All of staffs are very kind! I highly recommend it!

A longtime tenant, the building offers a nice mix of age groups as well as other longtime tenants and newcomers. The building is well maintained and apartments regularly updated. Of course the neighborhood is great - walking distance access to about 12 subway lines as well as multiple buses and PATH train plus the Hudson River esplanade, a wide variety of restaurants and retail.

Clean building, safe, convenient for me, I know many of the dogs in the building. Socially, the area has changed since Covid and many popular spots are gone and not too many replacing them. The staff here is great

Good staff at the front desk, really kind and considerate. The apartment has lots of sunlight which is really great. I would recommend it to anyone who wants easy access to multiple parts of nyc as there are so many transport options.

We’ve been living at 21 West since 2007. One of the best things about the building is the staff that works at the front desk and the porters. However, not sure why management is downsizing the staff. This is a mistake as it will negatively impact the quality of our experience as residents. We greatly appreciate the front desk and porter staff who make us feel like this is home.

Always enjoying the neighborhood. Every time when there is an urgent issue, the maintenance team is always reachable and responds to me in a timely manner. But I didn't have a good experience when communicating with the leasing office last year. It took more than a week or two to receive a response, the receptionist was lack of manners, which made me feel they don't care about the tenants at all.

I feel extremely safe and valued. I am recognized as an individual, not just a tenant. I truly feel at home. This building and staff fosters a welcoming community and I’m lucky to be part of it. I feel proud showing off my apartment, and I feel happy in my home.

21 west street is a good apartment if you dont care about noise. The spacious apartments allow noise to reverberate through the whole apartment making it impossible to ignore. The heater/ac will leak and destroy your floors.

Excellent staff. Excellent location. Couldn't be happier living in this building and neighborhood. Hidden gem at the base of NYC. Whole Foods just arrived in thr neighborhood. All we need now is a Trader Joe's.
