Pretty good, the apartment itself is very well furnished - all new appliances and structurally in great condition. Only downside is that I live on the first floor next to the elevator so I can hear the elevator “ding” constantly. Great location, very safe / clean neighborhood. Great subway access.

Renoir House is a clean, modern building with units that are comfortable yet refined. I am loving my experience living at Renoir House and I would recommend leasing a unit to a friend. I can't wait to make use of the roof top once the weather gets warmer.

Recycling bins are oonly in the basement now instead of each floor. Looks nice but cheap construction. Continuously see roaches and mice. Holes and cracks everywhere. Elevator, heat and plumbing interruptions. Rent is ridiculous for the sub standard quality of life here. A lot of the apts are short term rentals.

The Renoir House is falling apart. It has had not one but two fires (one in Oct. 2021 then a second in Dec. 2022, because the landlord Greystar Management did not fix the original problem that caused the fire), flooding in many residents' units, rodent infestation, ongoing heat outages in the winter, constant elevator breakdowns, and many other issues. Meanwhile, the landlord raised people's rents by as much as $1100 per month when it came time for lease renewals. The landlord is deeply unethical and retaliates against residents who complain by raising their rent more than others.

Management is really inconsistent and quite useless. They hardly ever reply to emails and require multiple follow-ups over the phone to get basic things done the service stuff wonderful though and keep the place running.

There was an incident where repairs were done in my apartment and they took longer than expected and some of my personal belongings were damaged badly. Nothing was done to resolve this matter at all. I had to fix/replace or throw them out on my own.

Great time so far. We moved in at the end of an august and have had only a few issues. One this that is thought is the elevator size and distance to the hallways on each floor make getting larger furniture deliveries a hassle.

The Renoir House is truly a disaster. In the time that I've lived here, there has been flooding in my unit, a fire in the building, and constant heat and A/C outages. The building is also infested with cockroaches and mice. I recently caught mice in my apartment. The Renoir House is unsafe and unsanitary. It's not a "luxury" building at all. It's an old building that the landlord Greystar has utterly failed to maintain. Greystar is a greedy slumlord who raised tenants' rents by over $1000 per month, even though they know that the building is falling apart and went on fire in the past year. Renters - beware. Avoid this building at all costs. You can find a far nicer, safer building in this neighborhood for the same price (or less).

Still having rodent and insect issues. We have had issues getting responses from management and when they actually respond,o they speak down to you condescendingly and do not look into the issues you brought up and lie to you and say you are the only one having this issue whcih you know is not true after speaking to other neighbors. Also, it is clear that there is an overall rodent issue as you can see them entering the building from the 63rd street side at night.

Terrible building, worst I’ve ever lived in during my 16 years in nyc. There was a fire in the building and the doors were knocked down. It’s been 8 months and the doors still haven’t been fixed, we are still running on a generator, I’ve developed sleeping and breathing issues from the noise and air quality, and haven’t had a working stove in 2 months and no compensation has been offered to me for it. It’s been the most expensive nightmare I’ve ever had.
