Unit 6A Pros: - well maintained - very responsive to issues - nice property and grounds Cons: - major cockroach issues which went on for months despite 10+ exterminator visits Advice to landlord: Do a better job pre-emptively inspecting and mitigating potential pest issues

Unit 9C Pros: Repair system are automatic and easy online. Safe neighborhood. Cons: The buildings are old so old AC old heating.

Unit 1D Pros: First apartment in NYC, I liked how utilities was factored into rent. I only had to pay for AC and wifi. Overall, the building was clean and packages were delivered directly to our door which was nice. Key card system for the building too was nice. Never had any issues with mice or cockroaches. Cons: Maintenance was sometimes difficult. I think if you were within your first 30 days of moving-in they came to help you ASAP but after 30 days there was a long line. Luckily, we never had any issues other than when we first moved in. Advice to landlord: Please fix maintenance

Pros: Building was well maintained and management was responsive. Safe area. Cons: A little far from the subway, a lot of older neighbors who would get upset at noise. Laundry is not a good experience at all, it’s located in the basement so it’s very hot and some neighbors are very inconsiderate (will steal the machine from you).

Pros: - laundry in building - lots of nearby parks and stuff - east village has great nightlife Cons: - at some point the water pressure got really intense for the shower - rent too expensive

Unit 11C Pros: Amazing location Well maintained neighborhood Great apartment layout and size Cons: Maintenance is sooo slow to respond to issues - our shower is constantly clogged and it takes forever to get someone up to snake it The heat in our apartment in the winter is unbearable. I genuinely overheated in the middle of January because my ac unit gave out. The trash shoot is laughably small. You cannot throw full size bag out so make sure you take out the trash when it’s half full

Pros: Heat was never an issue, our apt in particular never had an issue with pests but a friend's apt did so it is very location dependent. Quiet, never had problems with neighbors. Easy to dispose of trash. All utilities except wifi are included. Cons: Carpets in hallway seem old and dirty, our apt in particular was also not renovated recently so not the best but not that bad. Just annoying to take down recycling to ground level so we always had a little pile in the apartment.
