This place is the worst for 3 reasons: 1) the whole building is infested with SILVERFISH; 2) the walls are paper thin; and 3) the building managers and one particular doorman are intentionally useless

The "Assistant General Manager" at this building - ----, is very ineffective. Takes forever to respond to emails and never answers the phone. The only way to get in touch with this woman is to physically go into the management office, during office hours, which is difficult if you work full-time You'll also have to deal with doormen who act like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. As other reviewers have mentioned, the so called "services" by some staff at this building is just awful.

Building and services are in decline due to horrible management. Building has gotten cheap in the last couple of years.

Staff is incompetent, cheaply constructed apartments, barely proactive about bedbugs like most buildings, overpriced. Avoid.

Fully agree with previous review. Management is incompetent. Very little gets done. Just keeps up appearances. Lived here for years, and the quality has significantly deterioated since I first lived here. Not sure the cause, but it is a fact. It is now on par with a Rockrose building. For the money, it is not worth it at all. Rent elsewhere.

I am writing this almost a year after moving out having spent some time looking over this website for a place to live in Los Angeles and coming to the conclusion that not a single place received a positive review. So I decided to check out my old place (for sake of comparison) only to come across so many negative reviews. Felt compelled to add a fair review. Overall I really enjoyed my time in this building--and this is coming from someone who had numerous run-ins with management and was priced out. But I must be honest in saying it is an incredibly clean and beautiful building. The neighborhood is a little secluded, but very nice--there is nowhere else in Manhattan where you can walk out your door into such a beautiful waterside park. Plus, it's directly across the street from an awesome Whole Foods--so the term "secluded" is relative (plus I hear Danny Meyer is taking over the area). As for the apartments themselves, they are great--brand new, new appliances, great bathrooms, large closets. As for amenities: Gym is small but clean and nice. Can combine with gym at Tribeca Parc around the corner with its pool. Party room is also a great space, generally available. Parking garage is expensive (street parking is possible on weeekends but tough)but clean and convenient. As for management: First--let me say that the staff--doormen, bellmen, handymen--are all top notch. Really great people, very helpful. management itself can be a pain, but they mean well. Had run-in with leasing agent when I was first looking (she rented me a studio that she didn't have available) but it was eventually sorted out (got a 1 bdr at a good price). Main run-in came because my neighbors complained that I was too loud (which i wasn't, noise was result of me keeping odd hours and sub-woofer carrying awkwardly through floor). Management hounded me. This was a pain, but we all dealt with it. Bottomline: Apartment is clean and nice. Yes there are lots of kids and dogs. Yes you may hear neighbors. But guess what--this is an apartment building in NYC. You want total peace and quiet--move to the country.

This building is so improperly managed it is ridiculous. Every problem I have ever had in my apartment has not been solved. The maintenance staff is unprofessional and lazy. The doormen have no idea what they are doing and adopt a complacent attitude. AND, noise is a huge problem here the walls are flimsy and the building gets major complaints about dogs & babies all the time. If you do not have a family/dog do not live here because everyone else does. There is feces on the floor occasionally which is not always cleaned. The gym is extremely limited as well. Going to move as soon as my lease is up!

I've lived here for almost 3 months now. I've been sexually harassed by staff, cheated by handyman (paying for extra work that was never done), had my bike tampered with, which almost got me killed, have some other apartment on my gas and electric bill - the building said my bill should be higher because this is a green building (huh') until ConEd proved that I'm paying someone else's bill, and regional corporate management denying anything is wrong. They won't let me out of my lease or let me move to another Related building for the same price. This is the worst NYC management property I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot! Don't do it. And the apartments are not worth the price. Oh ya, and your heat in the winter, blows out COLD air and that's the way its supposed to be I'm told by the manager's assistant! Just imagine those cold days in January and you come home to COLD air blowing out at you to warm up your apartment, sounds cozy huh' NOT! Cell phones don't work and internet coverage is awful too. I would not recommend Related. I've been dealing with Related corporate management, so this would apply to all Related buildings.

We moved here from Barclay Tower because the noise from construction at WTC site was unbearable and we were expecting our first child. The neighborhood is full of strollers and dogs, which we love. There are dog-free playgrounds for the kids and dog parks for the dogs all around. The staff members are all sweethearts. The gym is small but gets the job done. The apartments are goodly sized with lots of closet space (we are in the N line, 2-bdrm, 2-bath). We face Teardrop Park and find it is very quiet. My only complaints about the apartment itself is that one of our AC/heating units doesn't regulate the temp well enough. I wouldn't want to live in any other area of NYC with kids and this building provides w/d in each unit (except 1-bdrms, i think) and there are larger w/d on each floor

My partner relocated 5 months ago from NC to the City and into an apartment at Tribeca Green. We enjoy living there and we find the staff very friendly. No complaints, only cudos!
