Pros: private garden, friendly doorman, package room, gym, convenience to the hospital, responsive super Cons: very noisy for street-facing units! can hear ambulance, fire trucks, motorcycles, angry honking, drunk people, music from the bar... Advice to landlord: Install double-glazed window?

Pros: See above: great building with excellent doorman, package room, great courtyard, very thick walls, every apt has excellent lighting Cons: Managing company could be more responsive, if you want a dog it's possible but kind of a hassle Advice to landlord: Keep it up

Pros: There is a lovely courtyard (that is frequently closed) and a laundry room (although the machines are often dirty). The doormen are the nicest bunch of people around, though. Cons: The building management allows any and all construction noise to happen from 9 am - 4:30 pm all day, every day, with no consideration for people who might have small children who need to nap or if you sleep during the day because of night shifts. The exterior of the building is under construction for the majority of the year every two years or so. The package room loses at least one package a month. I've seen enormous bugs in the hallways. Advice to landlord: Either space out the construction that is allowed (giving weeks or months between construction in the same area) or only allow noisy construction to happen during specific months of the year, weeks of the month, or even hours of the day, instead of literally all the time, any time.

Pros: Responsive, great doormen, great staff. Cons: In the winter the pipes sometimes leak due to the cold - the building is very good at handling it but it still happens.

Pros: Garden space, doormen and staff are amazing, spacious layouts Cons: Renters aren’t allowed to have pets, the experience really depends on who the landlords of your unit are, tons of rules about shared areas, gym is dingy

Pros: 24 hour doormen, private courtyard, laundry, gym, block from Trader Joe’s and fairway, close walk to 6 train, attentive and friendly staff. Cons: Management makes everything difficult, lots of old people and families, not dog friendly Advice to landlord: Management should be worked on
