Unit 9Y Pros: Rent was cheaper than most of the other buildings in the area. Management is responsive and you can negotiate your rent a little bit. Cons: it’s right above Lincoln tunnel so you hear a lot of traffic noise

Pros: The layout of my studio with huge closets and the kitchen away from the living space was excellent. The building was kept clean and was near awesome restaurants. Cons: You can hear your neighbors through the walls; not enough to bother me, but something to be aware of. Advice to landlord: Respond promptly to reports of mice.

Pros: Its a nice (relatively new) building with great staff. The washrooms are a good size compared to other apartments in the city and overall a great place to live. Cons: Since its on 9th avenue beside the tunnel, there is a lot of siren noise and cars honking during evening rush hours; this is not a problem most of the day or at night. Another issue is the property management company's use of the 421 a tax abatement clause which could result in higher rent prices. The building is owned by a publicly traded company.
