Pros: The building itself was once beautiful. The apartment is spacious with great sunlight and views. Some older details still intact. Some great neighbors and perfect spot on gorgeous tree-lined riverside drive Cons: The halls are pretty dirty and some apartments are in bad need of repair. The trash situation is pretty gross with lots of rats. Some problems with leaks. Advice to landlord: Take care of the dirty halls, the trash, the leaks please!!

Unit 20 Pros: The apartment did look nice on first glance, and was very spacious. The location is good. Cons: Pipes have not been updated in a century, water pours from the ceiling and causes mold. When I lived here, I had a permanent sinus infection from the mold. Management is unresponsive or lies, maintenance staff lied about fixing the problem dozens of times, and would just plaster and paint over the mold. Advice to landlord: Sell the property to someone who will not be negligent and put tenants in danger!

Unit 2F Pros: Shower water pressure, apartment space Cons: Landlord non responsiveness to crumbling structure, Cockroaches, building Super lack of detail when fixing issues. Radiator gushing water. Floors are warped and dented in badly due to years of continuous ignored water leaks that pour down from multiple floors above my apartment. Advice to landlord: Fix water leaks and Radiator massive leak. Super just covers leaks with plaster until ceiling collapses again. Owner got rid of maintenance worker that let cockroaches get overwhelmingly bad. Thats the only good thing. I am rounding about tenant information to make a formal complaint about ignored DOB violations and utilizing media outlets as a tool.

Pros: The view of the Hudson, near riverbank park, alot of culture in the building, neighbors help eachother Cons: Constant pest, will complain about it frequently with no results, packages and mail get stolen alot, maintenance is not kept up as well as it should be, has a very old feel to it Advice to landlord: Fix the building, get control of the pest, clean the mess around the building,
