“Pros: Management is pretty responsive on issues. Neighbors are friendly, building is fairly safe and clean. Cons: There were some issues like leaks, mice, some faulty electrical outlets. But management did help fix every issue in a timely manner.”

— 124 EAST 107 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The super was sweet although not the most helpful, the neighborhood is great Cons: The building is falling apart. The ceiling in my apartment was caving in in three separate places, asked for it to be fixed and it never happened. This caused mold to grow, due to the water damage causing the ceiling to break. One night brown water poured into the apt but the problem was still never fixed even though we reported it. Mice and cockroaches always found their way in despite us hiding food. Could hear the inside of the walls crumbling and every footstep of our neighbors. We moved out early and came back to clean up. There was a dead cat behind the oven. We assumed it must have crawled in through one of the broken parts of the walls and ceilings. We never had a cat but we heard alley cats at night often. It was horrific and sad. We returned to give our keys back, but went to say goodbye one last time before handing them over. There was cat food and cat poop and pee everywhere. Someone had been tending to cats in the apartment after we had left despite our lease not being up. It was terrifying to think someone could have gained entry to our apartment easily, and clearly knew how. Overall a terrible experience. Advice to landlord: Do better I don’t even know where to start”
“Unit 32 Pros: It has good space in the apartment in general, and it's in Manhattan, right by the 4,5, & 6. Cons: Roaches are everywhere. They come through the walls. THERE ARE SO MANY ROACHES. The people in charge of this building DO NOT get back to you, and the super is no help either. People are filthy in this building and leave trash and food in the hall. The water is rarely hot, and if it is, it is scorching. There is no water pressure. The floor is slanted. The buzz for the door does not work, so you have to go down and back up every time. Advice to landlord: Fix the roach problem, and don't let drug addicts live here.”
— 124 EAST 107 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Close to subway The super lives in the building. He is the nicest person and tries his best to help this sinking boat of a building. Cons: Roaches, water leaks, mold and worst landlord. Advice to landlord: Be more responsive to your tenants request and their living situation. Especially when potential health issues can develop from the issues in your building.”
— 124 EAST 107 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Relatively close to the subway and easy access to several bodegas and bus stops. Cons: There was definitely a roach problem throughout the building. The whole building was dated and neighbors were loud and rude.”
— 124 EAST 107 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Nothing. None. Zero. Cons: Rats, roaches and leaks. Advice to landlord: Hire a competent management company. Awful is an understatement. We finally moved out because the leak that went on for 4 years was never repaired. Even when the ceiling collapsed. Mold was throughout 75% of the apartment.”
— 124 EAST 107 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Nothing nice to say Cons: Infested with rats and roaches Advice to landlord: Do a better job for the amount of rent u charge”
