“Unit 32i Pros: App to submit maintenance requests and have resolved quickly, newer building Cons: Elevators on tall side can be slow/many were under repair for months”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 28E Pros: Management is great and responsive, building is super well kept and clean, views from the corner units are unreal, and has pretty much every amenity that you would ever need Cons: Note that you have to pay for the amenity floor (think its $175 a month) and the gym is packed at peak times. With a lot of families kids in the building as well the pool/hot tub can be overrun with them when you just want to relax. For the premium you're paying the gym should be much larger in my opinion Advice to landlord: Suggest they expand the gym and reconsider the $175 amenity floor fee. Unreasonable when the rent is as expensive as it is”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Staff, Amenities, Views Cons: Price, Dog management, amenity hours”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Great doormen; good amenities. No problems during my 3 year tenure. Cons: Package situation a little slow to inventory arrivals; however this is a contractor. sometimes taking several hours --was only a concern because I needed them immediately for work sometimes.”
“Pros: Very clean, good staff, great amenities. The gym is nice. Cons: One of our air conditioners broke and it took months to get fixed.”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Love the doorman and service team. Literally the nicest people. Always great to see them at the end of a long day. Cons: Can get crowded in elevators. Package Room is crammed during the holiday season.”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Great views Good chief handyman Nice doormen Cons: PTAC units are loud and dysfunctional Elevators can be very slow to arrive Bathrooms cheaply made Unresponsive management”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Amenities cleanliness new Cons: Dog pee outside building terrible smell always Advice to landlord: Put No dog pee signs around building!!!! Horrible smell”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: The staff working at the building (maintenance/concierge) are so lovely, as are many of the neighbors The amenities are amazing…. Cons: Amenities are amazing.. BUT they recently have cut the hours in half - like the pool etc. and still are charging us in increased member rate. Very unfair, feels dishonest. Also the new residents that have moved in post pandemic don’t respect our building like us that have lived there since it opened in 2017, so now the building is looking tatty and old. Advice to landlord: Provide the amenities you are selling us for $85 a month. Cutting the opening hours in half and not so counting our member rates to compensate the limited hours is basically stealing from us!!!!!”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Quiet, clean building, good location. Cons: Elevators break down often. Maintenance can be slow to respond to issues. I.e. we had a broken PTAC AC/Heat unit for several months.”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Great amenities if you’re able to use them. Cons: Bad management, non responsive, mice issue in many apartments Advice to landlord: Change the management company.”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Building is very well located. The doorman Victor is the best part of this building. The man works so hard and is wonderful. Cons: Carpet in hallways is all stained. Wall paper is peeling in common areas. Refuse rooms and not cleaned as regularly as they should be. Floor boards in apartment buckle. The beautiful park around the building does not look nice anymore. All weeds. Extremely transient. Your neighbors don’t care about how they keep the hallways/building.”
— 2 NORTH 6 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: It’s is usually very clean, custodial, door and maintenance staff are great. Decent Covid response Cons: Low-quality Floors damage easily. Cheap cabinetry, amenities aren’t great, usually broken. Manager Reuben is rude and unhelpful. Carpets need to be replaced in building. Package room is better but annoying if you work when they are open. Will nickel and dime you when moving in Advice to landlord: Terminate Reuben, replace damaged carpets and wall finishes. Update floor quality”
