— 244 WEST 29TH STRE ET A/K/A 241 WEST 28TH STREET · Manhattan“Pros: - 24/7 Staff - Maintenance is attentive and thorough. They are friendly and do a good job. They usually come the next day and they make sure to not dirty your apartment and cover things when drilling etc. - Location is convenient - Floor plans are spacious - Gas Stoves and good sizes kitchen Cons: - Expensive. I had a 30% rent raise which is crazy since this building is half unoccupied - You do hear muffled noise from MSG and neighbors at times but not enough to bother me. - It's in midtown right near Penn station so you got a fair amount of craziest and the street outside isn't the best. - Sinks don't have garbage disposal - No ceiling lights in the units - In-unit washer dryers are Bosch 300 which are not great washing machines. - I had a pretty serious maintenance issue with a ceiling water leak causing a cracked ceiling. They sort of ignored this for a few weeks until I pinged the building manager, but then they were prompt about fixing it - Kitchen Islands don't have an overhand (well it's 3") so you can't put barstools - Front Desk staff are only nice to you if you look the right way - Amenities are pretty minimal but very expensive ($2000/yr and guests allowed for another fee!) Advice to landlord: Keep being attentive to maintenance and be respectful towards residents”
