“Pros: It was pretty modern apartment, like the finishes. Area was okay. i didn’t feel unsafe or ever had any issues walking around in the area or being bothered. Cons: The building was very outdated and the ceiling was falling in the entryway to the building after heavy rain. Packages would get stolen. As a female, the Super sometimes made me feel very uncomfortable. Advice to landlord: Update the inside of the building”

Last winter, there was a radiator leak and my ceiling started to collapse. There was black mold underneath the plaster - I’m sure there is more in the building. Roach-infested. Like everywhere. Just killed a few. Not all apartments have smoke alarms. I had to request one and weeks later the super gave me an old one that didn’t work. You have to call 311 to get any repairs done. Management company is too scared to come to the neighborhood. When a unit was empty, they told prospective tenants to buzz my apartment. For weeks I was getting buzzed at all hours. Management didn’t ask. I talked to one of the viewers and they said they were told to buzz my unit. Advice to landlord: Treat people with respect. Try to Be less racist.”
