“Pros: At one point we had a leak in our ceiling, and the super showed up and took care of it fairly quickly. Cons: The management company refuses to put money into the building. The elevator is frequently broken, stranding older residents on the top floors for days — the max it was OOO was around 10 days, and it broke about a dozen times when I lived there. The super is nice but not always quick to get back to you. The management company is much worse — we had to contact them constantly to get a response about move out. The exterminator comes twice a month but doesn’t do much. We got roaches twice in two years and a mouse once. The building is poorly maintained enough that they’re sure to get in. Also, be sure to check if it’s a rent stabilized unit before you rent. They’re engaged in a lawsuit with a number of tenants for rent increases on stabilized units. Advice to landlord: Fix the elevator, put some actual money into the building”

Takes multiple calls to the management company to get responses on anything.”
