“Pros: Affordable building in an amazing part of the UES. Building staff is very kind and willing to help with whatever you need. Neighbors are typically pretty quiet and respectful. Cons: Building management is not responsive unless it’s something that could cause them an issue. We’ve been dealing with mold in our bathroom forever that’s taking them forever to fix. We also deal with some pests (silverfish). Overall, I don’t think management does a great job of maintaining the building or taking care of the staff (doormen, maintenance, etc.) - even though that staff is absolutely incredible.”

— 200 EAST 72 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 5G Pros: The building is well managed, and the doormen are incredible. They always went the extra mile for us even when they didn't need to. My unit had great sunlight and even though it hadn't been renovated in a while, it was still nice and clean. The roof deck is windy, but amazing. Some of the best views in the city! Overall, I would totally recommend living here. I stayed for 4 years and honestly wish I hadn't left! Cons: Only con in my opinion would be the water pressure wasn't great in our shower and the units are feel pricey even thought they could use a renovation...”

— 200 EAST 72 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Doormen are super helpful and so friendly. Makes the living experience so much better! The building is also fairly quick on getting things fixed. Will also do pest control weekly if you’d like. Also has laundry on every floor which is a nice perk. Cons: Management company doesn’t budge on little things. For example, wouldn’t do a month extension to lease. Advice to landlord: .”
— 200 EAST 72 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: - Doormen and staff are exceptional - all repairs requests were addressed immediately - building well-maintained - Amenities: rooftop, laundry on each floor, gym, doormen Cons: - New management will increase your rent each year, but I always succeeded in negotiating a lower increase Advice to landlord: Take care of your staff (starting with a renovated staff room!). They are the life and soul of the building and made it truly feel like home. If I could have afforded to live in a one-bedroom in the building, I would have never left.”
