“Unit 4J Pros: Neighborhood is pretty chill. Park across the street. Cons: Everything about this place sucks. False advertising. Zoomed out pictures of rooms to make them look bigger than they really are. Rent price for a 2 bedroom almost 2.5k. Worst thing of all, I’ve got a 1 year old who started walking and playing with toys and makes some noise during the day, as all toddlers do. Apartment below us complained to management at least 2-3x to make our lives hell. Management comes and tells us we need to have rugs + padding in 80% of the apartment!!! Checking in on the apartment every week to see if we have complied. They told us if we don’t comply they will take legal action as per the lease. Padded rugs are expensive as hell. The audacity of these people to tell me where I should buy the rugs and pads from. Cannot wait till my lease is up to get the hell out of here. Would not recommend if you have young children. Ps I have a family with 3 children above me who make noise frequently. Never have I ever complained to management about them. Kids will be kids for a short time, and should be able to be themselves without having to worry about getting evicted. Advice to landlord: Bitter tenants and management sucks. Don’t seem to know how to control the situation.”
— 621 AVENUE Z · Brooklyn“Unit 4G Pros: The Pro’s I like about the building is the elevator, living near friendly people that help watch your packages so they don’t get stolen. They are prompt about fixing anything in the apartment. Cons: The walls are way to thin, I shouldn’t be able to hear everyone conversation the neighbors have on the wall facing to the left when you walk in. They need to better contract sound proof walls and floors. It’s very disturbing especially at night, I shouldn’t have to wait until 11pm or later to finally have peace and quiet in my apartment. Sometimes I have to sleep earlier. Sometimes neighbors are understanding and some neighbors don’t care. That’s a big problem, that can easily be fixed by renovating apartments to be sound proof. Advice to landlord: Sound proof the apartments, I feel like I’m over paying for my studio, that is not even completely done when I moved in.”
“Pros: Very quite and calm!! We have got the best realtor to deal with. "Tomer Versano" has really helped us in getting the apartment and he still assist us if we have any problem. He is a gem, very nice & humble person. Would highly recommend him. People are nice and the management is very cooperative and responsive. Jacob, is very responsive whenever we have any questions/ issues. Nice place to live!! Cons: There should be some cameras for safety. Need to pay a bit attention towards the overall cleanliness.”
— 2661 WEST 2 STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 4A Pros: Outstanding maintenance staff when issues arise in your apartment. Cons: Tenants don’t care; abuse the laundry room and break new machines out in. Advice to landlord: I would suggest holding tenant meetings so that tenants can meet and learn to respect each other.”
— 2612 WEST 2 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: I loved the high ceilings as well as the owners enthusiasm to show me the apartment. Nice area, however, I do wish the bathroom was slightly bigger Cons: Not much cons. Again I do wish the bathroom for the specific apartment I was shown would be bigger. Also, I noticed certain maintenance work that could e been done bettter. For example, patchwork, paint, etc”
— 9 MURDOCK COURT · Brooklyn“Pros: Affordable Relatively clean Good, safe surrounding area/community Nice courtyardsbe more Cons: Difficult to get ahold of management, have to leave messages and sometimes they just dismiss or never respond when reporting important issues like big leaks and persistent roach issues. Don’t communicate whether anything is being done about your complaints either. No email or text notifications when there are widespread building issues.”
— 2611 WEST 2 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: I like its space Cons: The place is too noisy around 3 am”
— 2612 WEST 2 STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Maintenance is on call service 24 hours if there’s an emergency. Close to the belt parkway. Nice garden. Cons: Building is filled with sloppy neighbors. Roaches crawling all over the trash compactor room. Smell of pot all day and everyday. Rude neighbors. The entrance door locks are broken all the time and strangers come and go into the building. Advice to landlord: Stop being so cheap; it is evident you only care about the rent and not the people who rent your apartments.”
