— 620 WEST 141 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Reasonable prices for the size of apartments , rent stabilized Cons: - not well run from a MGMT perspective - pest control opportunities ( roaches and rats) - updated apartments were done with low quality work Advice to landlord: Improve cleanliness and condition of apartments”
— 620 WEST 141 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 3e Pros: Big apartment. Nothing else Cons: Roaches, roaches and more roaches The place is a mess and no one care. Garbage everywhere and of course pests. The super is the worst too. Run!!! Don't rent in this building Advice to landlord: Do your work!”
“Pros: Front door has a keypad entry so easy to let my friends in with the dial in system. Elevator works! Garbage area is usually pretty clean Cons: It’s 100 years old so there’s that. A few landlord specials with paint jobs and such. Advice to landlord: None for now!”
— 620 WEST 141 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Fine apartment. The super was great. located near train. Cons: Noisy neighbors. Rats. Elevator was broken for way to long. Advice to landlord: Be more present”
— 602 WEST 141 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Garbage is always mostly taken out Cons: Nothing gets done, super and workers never available to fix issues in apartment. Bell downstairs doesn’t work, no one to fix it Advice to landlord: Get a super who is bilingual,”
— 620 WEST 141 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The price and size of the units Cons: There were holes in the walls (from emergency repairs to access pipes for a different unit) and water damage/holes in the ceilings of four rooms in my unit. It took over a year and a half to get things prepared as management was unresponsive and calling the city/311 is a long slow process. But only through the city’s contractors did it get repaired. The apartment is still not up to code but the process was so exhausting I’ve become resolved to the situation. Advice to landlord: Listen to your tenants. Do not trust what the superintendent says. The last one entered our apartment through a fire escape without permission! (Thankfully he’s gone.)”
— 620 WEST 141 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Close to the train, decent sized apartments, and close to riverbank park which is helpful during COVID Cons: The building is dirty, the block can be loud late into the night/morning, the elevator breaks frequently, some renovations seem to be cheaply done Advice to landlord: Clean the building on a regular basis, paint the walls in the hallway”
