“Unit 406 Pros: Clean very friendly and attentive doorman and porters Cons: 102 is access point to FDR - drivers impatiently honking 24/7 when building shuttle bus or double parked cars slow down traffic”
— 333 EAST 102 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Staff is awesome, I will miss the doormen and maintenance staff when I leave. Prompt and responsive management, they will send someone within 24 hours to attend to anything. Cons: Neighborhood is kind of sketch, but not unsafe, even for a woman alone.”
— 333 EAST 102 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 804 Pros: Cheap and a lot of space. Free gym. Cons: Our bedroom is next to the elevator and we hear it every second. When you move here, double check that you’re not next to it. Management doesn’t care and won’t let you change apartments.”
— 333 EAST 102 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The staff at Hampton Court is exceptional. Building is clean . Apartments are large. I love My apartment. The súper is the best. This building is on top of everything . I really like them Cons: This is supposed to be rent stabilized. I just Read that after $2700 the apartment destabilizes… not sure if that’s correct but my rent is going up $600 a month ! I’ve only been here 3 year Advice to landlord: Awful to increase the rent so much when the neighborhood is shady feels unsafe. We don’t have common areas or any access to a courtyard. for peace but we should have rooftop access and open office style spaces. East Harlem is isolated and that shuttle should start at 5am and go on until midnight. The rent was never cheap and to be surprised with a massive increase on your first renewal is awful”
“Pros: On-site parking that’s unbelievably affordable for the city. Doormen are cool, and you can make friends with neighbors. Cons: No sound barrier coming from the hallway or from people above you.”
— 333 EAST 102 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Shuttle service to mutliple subway stations- Q train and Lexington lines Cons: 1. Rat infestation. Management too slow to respond. Rigid on any compensation. 2. Free pet policy change overnight without informing tenants. Now dogs pee in hallways. No designated laundry facilities for those with allergies. 3. Noisy, rude tenants Advice to landlord: They know what to do.”
— 333 EAST 102 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Doormen are cool. Good amenities. Bodegas still live on. Cons: Neighborhood can be dodgy but it’s like NYC from 90’s.”
