EAST HARLEM LEXINGTON HOUSING DEVELOPMEN T · avg 3.0 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: The super is on site and available all the time or on call. They clean the building often and repair things that need fixing in a timely fashion. Cons: Being in a bad neighborhood, sometimes locals get in and smoke cigarettes in the staircase.”
— 135 EAST 122 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: There are no pros to this building or the people who maintain it! Cons: This building is roach and mice infested to the max!!! When things break down or need fixing they never comply or send inexperienced workers to complete and do a very sloppy job for the situation to happen again for another fixing down the line and have it repeated every year. The super is useless and doesn’t really know how to do anything. The hallways are always dirty not shiny. There is always a breakdown of the buzzer to get into the building, people hanging in middle of night making noise or arguing. Management makes appointment and never complied has tenants stay home on day they say they would come by and never show up having to miss days of work but are very quick to call and have rent notices pushed on them!!! Advice to landlord: *hire experienced fixers to fix anything and everything, instead of cheap labors. *hire a better exterminator to eliminate pest *comply with appointments *comply with fixing *train your workers on how to treat and speak to others as well as building management *have compassion for low income residents”
