“Unit 4B Pros: it's in a quiet neighborhood Cons: management, outdated appliances, old floors, thin walls, terrible insulation and hate, single windows, no ACs, superintendent, heavily overpriced and it's rent stabilized building yet they have "deregulated" apartments where they hike the rent and not worth it. Low ene Advice to landlord: Make it more affordable and worth living in for the astronomical prices you charge and TURN THE HEAT ON AND help with ACs in the summer”

— 102-50 62 ROAD · Queens“Pros: The pros of this building is the quietness, no loitering in and around building, tenants come and go , no heavy traffic in building. Cons: The cons of the building is the superintendent, he is very lazy, lives in building but doesn’t troubleshoot issues in building when need be. Also, the old wood flooring are very loud and need a serious renovation. Walls are paper thin. Elevator is very small was a job and a half moving in, had to climb steps with bed etc because elevator is so tiny. Also, apartments don’t come with AC units in wall , you have to buy your own acs plus pay to get the brackets installed as well as a monthly fee for each AC. Don’t even know if this is legal. Lastly, management is not responsive and if so they’re very standoffish but are down your throat if you’re a tad bit on late, trying their best to evict you. I’m not done with my first year lease but I’m afraid to see the rent hike since they said my apartment is not subject to rent stabilization even tho this building is. Advice to landlord: This is a very old building with a need for renovation, please stop pocketing off of the new tenants who are paying trip the rent to keep the building functioning. Have a little bit more protection for newer tenants especially during a pandemic.”
“Pros: None at all, no heat, pay for water, rude loud neighbors Cons: maintenance is horrible Advice to landlord: Fix the issues”
