“Pros: Everything is new and stainless steel. There is a bike room, laundry room and even a small gym which is useful. Cons: The super isn’t very responsible depending on the issue. It’s a bit in the middle of nowhere and parking can be a little difficult.”

“Unit 602 Pros: I like the area, the neighborhood and the laundry room. Cons: The elevator is always broken. There’s roaches. Advice to landlord: Pest control”

“Unit 202 Pros: Long term tenants that are amazing. Pet friendly Relatively chill Cons: PEOPLE DONT PICK UP AFTER THEIR DOGS. Off leash dogs. False complaints - someone complained we smoke cigarettes in the apt but we don’t smoke cigarettes. Advice to landlord: Implement a fine for tenants that are irresponsible dog owners! I have stepped on too much dog shit and have had to battle other dogs that are not leashed. Both of these things are dangerous for other tenants and dogs, as well as unsanitary.”

“Pros: It’s an old building more spacious than other buildings in my search, the tenants moving in are younger single and younger families. Exterminator comes on the regular Cons: There seems to be a major issue with ventilation-there isn’t any…there are small grates above the ovens which worked once upon a time but they don’t suck the air out they just leak odors into the hallway. So you end up smelling everyone’s cooking Advice to landlord: Upgrades needed in sealing apartment from other”

“Pros: I do not have any pros for this building I am very disappointed with everything with management Cons: This is a new building, there are so many problems in this building, the bathroom has sewage smell, When it is raining your roof will start leaking, There is electricity wiring problems You keep losing electricity. There are too many problems for a new building No one would actually come and fix the issue or repair. They will definitely respond but not initiate to come and fix the problem and if they do it is always partially done and you have to keep following up over and over for the same thing for months. It Takes them over one month to fix one issue in the apartment and that also it is not properly done. Advice to landlord: You collect so much rent from the tenants but the service is not properly provided for the amount of rent we are paying for this building or apartment. Also the people in the management office every time we call they sound like they are sleeping and they are very unhelpful and rude”

“Pros: all modern appliances, security guard at night, big windows Cons: inconsistencies in all the units (some don’t have ceiling lights, one heater works in one part of the apt, where it doesn’t in the other, carbon monoxide alarm always going off every single time i cook, pipes are broken so it smells like shit in my bathroom all the time) Advice to landlord: lower the rent for the quality you provide.”

“Pros: Brand new building Cons: No attention paid on damages and details. People leave clothes inside laundry machines unattended for hours. already damaged ceiling tiles at laundry room. Lobby walls and corridors with scratches and could be taken care right away Advice to landlord: Pay attention to your building and help your tenants maintain the happiness. I understand that managing this big property may be difficult but better things can be done. I do recommend this building to friends because the building is perfect. the problem is the way is been taken care.”

“Pros: In building laundry Cons: Constant roach problem, garbage odor, no way to control heat (bill gets ridiculously high), poor ventilation, over priced, nobody wears mask in common areas, and the landlord became aggressive about rent being due during covid Advice to landlord: Stop over charging for a building you put no work on to maintain!”

“Pros: Clean. Friendly people in the building. Building manager and supers were friendly. Mostly responsive to requests Cons: Mice. Sometimes took a bit to respond to requests/had to request multiple times. Did not make extra efforts to clean during covid and did not offer any relief to tenants. Packages consistently stolen and management did absolutely nothing about it but take down the notes residents posted indicating they no longer wanted packages left there. Advice to landlord: Figure out the mice”
