“Pros: Great neighborhood ! Cons: Roach infestation ! Advice to landlord: Hire a proper exterminator”
— 451 FRANKLIN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 1 Pros: Proximity to trains Cons: -Cockroach problem and rat problem in the backyard that made it unusable (which was definitely part of why they thought they could charge so much) -So many things broken from the shelves on the fridge to the floorboards -Would come over unannounced -we got locked out once and instead of using the master key the super used a crowbar to get us into the apt, breaking the lock. Took weeks to fix it and the landlord even tried to say we were being dramatic and the door lock was fine -threatened to sue us for libel when we stated the objective truth that there was a pest problem to people touring the apt -raised the rent from the advertized price of $3500 to $3800 last minute -any time they sent over a repair person they would track mud in the house and be overall disrespectful (and we had reason to believe they weren’t actual plumbers just random people Advice to landlord: Stop being stingy, lower the rent and get a real job”

“Unit 2 Pros: I got my security deposit back. Cons: Roaches. The people who utilize the food pantry dumped beans on my bike, food is littered everywhere and no one cleans up Advice to landlord: Hire a new super, they only take the trash out every 2 weeks.”
