“Pros: Amaneties are great with bug lawn Cons: The neighbor can be so so and neighborhood isn’t the same anymore that it once was Advice to landlord: Get used to the neighborhood it is now. Never like how it was a gem before”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: nice amenities (gotten more expensive), floor to ceiling windows great, in unit laundry, everything is new, close to subway and good proximity to everything in lic Cons: neighbors would smoke in bathroom above/below me and constantly have the smell waft into my bathroom, would complain to building management and they would just warn the neighbor but not enforce anything. package room has hours and can take a while to get a package Advice to landlord: n/a”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Front dest and security teams are very pleasant Amenities are very good - nice gym, indoor pool, basketball court Cons: Amenity building should be 24 hours excluding usage of the pools Advice to landlord: None”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: 24/7 security, elevators working, clean lobbies and units, decently priced Cons: water tasted plasticky, thin-ish walls, door lock cover always fell off?”
“Pros: Good security & space Cons: Delays in maintenance”
— 30-02 QUEENS BOULEVARD · Queens“Pros: Excellent location, very close to the subway station. Good security. You can only access your own floor. If you need to visit a different floor, you must ask the front desk to unlock the elevator for you, and they are always responsible and helpful. Nice gym and apartment facilities. Maintenance is very responsive. If you report an issue (e.g., blocked sink), they usually send someone to fix it the next day. Very quick service. Cons: The leasing office and management team can be very unresponsive. Be prepared to send multiple emails before getting a reply. Quite frustrating.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Unit 31D Pros: Amenities (when open and not crowded) Views Layout Cons: Neighbors come and go like it's a hotel Loud neighbors is common No sense of community since most are transient Neighborhood kind of sucks Windows don't seal out train noise Advice to landlord: Get better windows”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: clean, modern, amenities in buildings Cons: distance from manhattan, neighbors, next to train tracks - can be loud at night”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: + facilities are pretty modern -- decent heating/AC, dishwasher, in unit laundry/dryer + relatively spacious + good view of manhattan skyline + location is right next to subway stations, easy access to both manhattan as well as deeper queens (e.g. LGA, flushing, astoria) Cons: - elevators too crowded, slow - expensive upcharge to use gym facilities”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Unit 27F Pros: Subway stop right outside of building, Outdoor space is nice Cons: Mail room can be a bit unorganized”
— 30-02 QUEENS BOULEVARD · Queens“Pros: Overall this is a great building. The reason I am moving is to be closer to friends and work in another borough. * Well-maintained building, newly built (2017). * Incredibly quiet unit. I happened to live next in a 1BR unit right off the elevator. I never heard noise from the elevator or from neighboring units through the walls. In the livingroom, you can hear when people are talking into the hall; and be aware that if a loud neighbor lives directly across from you (or a loud dog), you will probably hear that occasionally. But overall noise levels here were great. * Friendly doormen, have had a number of extended chats. * Windows isolated noise very well when closed. * Management was prompt to respond & make corrections when I encountered issues with the lease renewal online. * W/D in unit. * No broker fee. * Good water pressure, always hot. * Water included in the rent, at least for my apt. Electric bill was $30-40 / month. I never used gas, so can't comment on that. Cons: * The sink has full-size cabinets over it. I am about 6'2", I have to bend over awkwardly so as not to hit my head when doing dishes. I've never seen a kitchen set up this way. * Kitchen/counter space is quite limited. * Train noise: the several subway lines run above ground right next to this apartment complex. Not practical for me to sleep with the windows open, which I would prefer. * The heat works too well. When I left the heat off / windows closed in my unit in the colder months, the temperature was still in the upper 70s Fahrenheit. Given the train noise nearby, that meant using the A/C in the Winter, which doesn't make much sense. And while the building cools the halls during the Summer, this does not make its way into the apartment, so A/C is necessary year-round, except maybe for some times in Spring/Autumn. * Air conditioners have an odd design; they are not in-wall, but they are large units that take up a lot of space by the window, are a bit noisy for my taste, and can be finicky. Also because the building is so good at generating heat, they have to work harder to account for that. * Management was slow to respond when I initially moved into the building. * I put in requests asking for handymen to address a malfunctioning card reader on my door – not a problem, that sort of thing happens. But I explicitly asked them to let me know in advance what days/times would work so that I could be at my apartment, and instead I kept getting notices that they had tried to visit my apartment but left because I was not there to allow them in. Eventually I figured out what time of day they tended to show up and made myself available at that time, but better communication here would have been nice. * In the event that the card reader does stop working, opening the doors with a manual key is a pain. * Access to the amenity complex is about $140/month; seems a bit much compared to what I've seen elsewhere? Though their amenity complex is supposedly pretty unique. * The bathroom sink is flat, thus there is constantly standing water in it which brings more of a maintenance/cleaning burden.”

— 30-02 QUEENS BOULEVARD · Queens“Unit 10B Pros: This building made me feel like I was in Metropolis Cons: Non smoking building, but some would smoke and come through vents. Advice to landlord: be stricter with your younger tenants.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Unit 9E Pros: - Insane amenities - Nice units - Quick repairs - Very close to multiple transit stops Cons: - Some of the appliances are cheap and frequently had issues - Management sometimes had weird restrictions on common areas”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: - prime location at long island city, steps away from subway station - luxury building with amentities - clean - good sound proof Cons: - frond desk sometimes arn't that nice - the building now requires tenants themselves with photo ID for package reception - long line at the elevator - bad water pressure”
— 30-02 QUEENS BOULEVARD · Queens“Unit 51E Pros: View, nice common areas, good lobby management Cons: Air circulation in unit, elevator is a bit slow, a lot of noise pollution even on 51st floor”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: You can get whatever you expect to have for a luxury apartment here. Nice facilities and doorman. Cons: Noisy. It's too close to the subway to avoid.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Great amenity. The building is new and well located. Cons: The noise of the subway and the AC is quite loud. There were some issues with the dishwasher.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Unit 51H Pros: Clean, soundproof, high ceilings, laundry in unit, excellent facilities. Cons: They jack up the water + electric. Rent is high but unfortunately in line with market value. They constantly raise facilities rates without telling people. Advice to landlord: Treat your tenants who pay rent better than those who don't.”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Very convenient to multiple subways. Windows well insulated. Efficient layouts and lots of storage for size of units. Cons: Building management takes a moment to respond, though basic maintenance requests are pretty quick and managed through the online portal. Lots of construction next door currently so very dusty and noisy. Elevators congested/slow at peak times.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: -mgt has improved over the years, more firm implementing rules that benefit the community -private park, amenities bldg, security, social activities sponsored by mgt foster a sense of community, improved diversity of tenants Cons: -garbage disposal has always been an issue, but is mostly due to some tenants that are inconsiderate, mgt has been trying to take action Advice to landlord: getting better, keep improving”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Unit 6E Pros: Amenities, cleanliness, security, neighborhood Cons: Expensive to live here”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Building well maintained and clean. Nice garden area. Fitness center access costs extra - just increased to $119/month. Includes access to indoor and outdoor pool. Immediately surrounding area is quiet and clean - clearly the area gentrified considerably over the past decade. Heavy Asian (Chinese?) population in building. Food trucks outside the building in the evenings. Nice market (city acres) and food hall across the street. Extremely convenient subway access Cons: Some units get considerable noise from subway.”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: New building and state of the art appliances, washer dryer in unit, beautiful rooftops and shared courtyard with grills. Has an awesome amenity building you can opt into with all you could ever ask for. Cons: Not specific about the building but there is a ton of construction of a building next door that will likely block the entire view and natural light from one side of the building”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Proximity to subway , shopping, highways. Cons: There were many issues: poor security (homeless person snuck into a security card controlled elevator onto our floor), garbage room always dirty and overfilled, carts are rarely returned to lobby and there is no oversight for this, a heat complaint was ignored for over 72 hours. The tenants are young and it feels more like a dorm community where no one cares about the building or those living in it.( Shortly after we moved in, there was dog excrement in the middle of the lobby) Advice to landlord: Need better management, better oversight for everyone.”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Great service staff and amenities Cons: Very expensive . Horrible management reply time Advice to landlord: Please reduce rent and I’ll come Back”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: near the subway, the amenity is nice Cons: rather rude doorman sometimes lose packages Advice to landlord: be more responsible when the tenants lost their packages”

— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Unit 10V Pros: Friendly staff, and clean building Cons: Very large building so quite busy Advice to landlord: Keep up the good work”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: The building is new and definitely a luxury apartment. The apartment has one of the nicest amenities in LIC. Cons: One big drawback is package management. Their package room is managed by third party company and multiple times they lost my packages or unable to deliver due to various reasons. My unit also had broken AC unit upon moving in but they managed to fix it within couple days.”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Amenities are great, so many pros - doorman’s, amenities, subway access, park, food nearby etc Cons: Elevators are slow sometimes because a lot of people”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Close to transit, friendly staff Cons: Slow package logging & pickup, cigarette & weed smoke from stairwells, subway noise”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: I lived in Jackson Park between 2018 and 2020, and was the first tenant in my unit. It was nice, very nice. Great amenities, great fixtures in the apartments, and a well-maintained building. Cons: while the building was shiny, new, and filled with amenities, it lacked any personality. To top things off, neighbors were not very friendly. And considering the number of apartments, the building should have had at least twice as many elevators.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Modern finishes and great courtyard Cons: Management disregarded all of my maintenance requests, package room inadequately staffed.”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Maintenance and security is top notch Cons: Getting a hold of management is impossible.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Clean building and good management Cons: Mail room takes a long time to process packages. Advice to landlord: Fix mail room issues. Takes longer to process packages than to get it shipped cross country.”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: - Great building - Great Amenities - No noise issues from other apartments - Great private parks - Awesome rooftop Cons: - All management folks are not that friendly. - Train noise is constant. - If anything breaks you have to wait till Thursday to get it fixed because that’s when the handyman comes in. Even if it’s an emergency, you still got to wait atleast till the next Tuesday. - Packages are misplaces sometimes. Not completely management’s fault though. Some residents just don’t return the package if they receive it by mistake. Advice to landlord: - Package room can be managed better - Repairs should be done within 24hrs if it is an emergency. And what constitutes an emergency should be clearly mentioned in the lease.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Great location, seconds away from subway and a lot of restaurants, coffe shops and grocery stores around. Some of the staff are really nice and friendly. Cons: Too much noise:( The noise from the subway is bearable but the AC and fridge is functioning super loud ( could be that I live in a studio). The wall is nonexistent as for soundproofing, I can hear my neighbors playing music and running water for bath”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Clean, high-end, pet friendly Cons: Mentioned in title”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Gorgeous property and amenities but covered in dog shit. Friendly doormen and staff Cons: Quality of materials are terrible and things are always breaking. A pipe burst in the unit above and my house flooded and management still very slow to try and even assess the damage. Dishwasher started leaking at some point and took them 2 weeks to fix. Windows barely open and can get stuck in either direction. Advice to landlord: More upfront pricing…”
— 28-30 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Very well kept premises and responsive engineering for whatever issues that need fixing. Friendly front desk. Cons: Walls a bit too thin and can hear upstairs neighbors, hallway neighbors barking dogs. Advice to landlord: Good job. Was a happy tenant.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Nice lobby snd rooftop Cons: Horrible management. You place a service repair order and no one answers you. Took 10 days to get a response…only after I emailed the manager. Worst mail/package room in Long Island City! They have lost 3 of my packages, and every time you have to pick up a package you need to wait 20 minutes in line…worst! Advice to landlord: Hire more staff.”
— 28-02 JACKSON AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Best amenities in nyc but leasing office is overworked. Cons: Building maintenance shoddy Advice to landlord: More personalization to tenants”
