“Pros: 15 Bridge Park Dr is a wonderful place to live. The staff are kind, warm, and attentive. The doormen always help you with packages, and the super is extremely responsive and always going above and beyond to fix anything that might require repair in the apartment. The building has great amenities including a gym and rooftop with two grills. These amenities are always kept extremely clean. The apartments have plenty of natural light and are equipped with renovated kitchens and bathrooms. Cons: While it has many of the qualities of a full service building, it does not have a 24-hr doorman. The doorman arrives at 7am and leaves at 8pm. I have found this to be frustrating at times when I need to retrieve a package after hours or if I had ever been locked out of my apartment. Additionally, the apartments are accessed via an electronic key fob. These fobs run out of battery from time to time and need to be replenished by building staff. On one occasion I could not get into my apartment because of my fob’s depleted battery. Thankfully it was during the time the doorman was working, however it obviously would’ve presented real issues were they gone for the day. Advice to landlord: Make the doorman 24-hrs and provide residents with the physical lock key to their units in addition to the electronic fob.”
— ATLANTIC AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 11F Pros: Very soundproof, good garbage management, package management etc. responsive super Cons: Some of the shared spaces get dirty/things break and go a while without repair. Some smoke smell in common areas on rare occasions Advice to landlord: Don't penny nickel dime for extra services”
— ATLANTIC AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: sweet old building by the water and park Cons: slightly high rent for small artist studios”
“Pros: great building staff and super responsive, communicative and POLITE management, well designed, accessible units. everything works and the location is a dream. Cons: the planters on the roof deck could use some plants, the gym and common room sometimes aren’t the cleanest, the walls in the hallways are a bit beat up and there is a donation bin for a local organization in the hallway that is convenient but tends to become a messy eyesore. Advice to landlord: only perhaps to give a little more attention to aesthetics in the common area”
— ATLANTIC AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: It was close to everything I needed. Cons: A bit loud.”
— 991 1 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Have been living here a few months. This is a well-built, well-run building. Despite being next to BQE, it's nearly silent when my windows are closed. The temperature and humidity indoors is nice and consistent. Walls seem solid as I don’t hear my neighbors. Appliances work well. Maintenance is responsive and professional. The location next to the park (and ferry terminal) is wonderful. Cons: The amenities are so-so: the gym is a little small, the roof terrace is small and only wraps around one quarter of the building with just a single table. The bike room costs money. No doorman late at night. The location isn't great if you depend heavily on the subway. A bunch of busy BQE onramps are nearby. Advice to landlord: None for now”
— ATLANTIC AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Proximity to park. Cons: Everything else. The walk to the subway is so long and dangerous many times of the day. The management doesn’t care about the tenants and are trying to squeeze everyone for $$$ all the time. The appliances, the doors, the elevators, the gym equipment — they are are always breaking and never get repaired. It’s a joke.”
