“Pros: You get what you pay for. Attentive staff, and well maintained building. I've had full appliances replaced in just a few hours. Good size a laundry room that is always open. Cons: Sometimes elevators can be slow. Advice to landlord: I enjoyed living in the property.”
— 1680 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Staff is excellent. Neighbors are generally friendly, a fair amount are families with young children. Cons: The laundry room machines are dated and don’t work particularly well. Not unusual to have to wait for elevators. Advice to landlord: It would be helpful to add wi-fi and more comfortable seating to the roof deck. More tenants would use it, especially with so many working remotely, if it was better equipped.”
— 1680 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Friendly doormen, safe, laundry Cons: Expensive compared to other nearby luxury buildings”
— 1680 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: The building was nicely updated. We had a brand new kitchen and bathroom. Cons: Surrounding neighbors (who live outside the building) don’t care about you. They sit on your stoop and get mad when you need to get into the building you live in. The regularly have parties using your stoop (that you can also hear inside your apartment) and leave trash on the steps like spilled milkshakes, chicken bones, food wrapper, straws, cups…. I also once got locked outside my apartment with my dog inside and couldn’t get ahold of my super, building manager, or building owner for almost 7 hours…. (And this was in the late afternoon…) I ended up being able to get into my apartment with the credit card trick which says something about building safety. We also had to move out only 4 months into our lease because they told us the building was being sold. The compensation they gave us for that “inconvenience” didn’t even cover the moving expense.”
— 1686 3 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Location: two blocks to Q and 6. Laundry in basement, doorman. The building maintenance crew is overall rather good Cons: Management is hard to deal with, very one-way communication Advice to landlord: Make sure you hear your tenants and react to their requests”
