QUEENS FRESH MEADOWS, LLC · avg 3.8 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: I never have to worry about the heat turning on once it gets cold outside. The building maintains the heat. Cons: The parking in this area is terrible. You’d think as many buildings as they have in fresh meadows, the company would be more accommodating to reasonable priced parking. Over the years I have seen the maintenance of this building decline. The elevators are always broken and make a lot of noise. The front door has been shattered for over a month and not been replaced, I mean at least it is locking this week. A couple of the outside doors are broken, leaving easy access into the building. This causes a safety risk. Advice to landlord: Visit your building every now and then. Speak to some of your tenants to see what if any improvements can be made. People reach out to you and never get a response back. That’s bad management skills.”

— 64-05 186 LANE · Queens“Pros: Safe neighborhood, great neighbors, laundry in building, super clean! Bus picks up outside of building! Cons: Parking is blah, and it takes a little over an hr to get to Manhattan.”
— 188-02 64 AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Corner duplex unit Cons: Ongoing mice issue and water damage Advice to landlord: Renovate the property”
— 189-15 73 AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Kind doormen. Big spaces. Cons: The walls are a bit thin.”
— 188-02 64 AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Location is spectacular, maintenance is quick to respond bc they are located downstairs, building workers are nice and kind, neighbors are friendly Cons: It can get loud due to nightlife activity in the area, especially weekend nights which is not fun for small children. Giant water bugs in the laundry room, washers and dryers are expensive and barely work. Only two elevators so when one goes out it’s a hot mess trynna get up or downstairs. Advice to landlord: Renovate the old elevators, buy new laundromat equipment”
— 188-02 64 AVENUE · Queens“Pros: - Quiet area well before 2020 then they let anyone move in - a lot of older people - a lot of food choices across the street. - some apartments have updated appliances. Cons: - elevator never works. Breaks every other day - disgusting laundry room (machine has mold) nobody cleans it. - racist management (if you aren’t Jewish they Talk and treat you like trash. - decent rent but for that amount it’s not worth it. - older community (during COVID ambulance were there everyday!! Picking someone up) it was annoying. Advice to landlord: - can’t have people pay high rent and not keep the place luxury.”
— 188-02 64 AVENUE · Queens“Pros: Free gas use , and heating included Cons: Bad management , if anything needs to be repaired , it will be done in a long and bad process . The “service desk “ is infamous for their lack of curtesy understanding of the English language , or patience ...landlord care only about rent . PS Property manager is probably one of the worst managers in this business This management has its most investments in lawyers , the have a multitude of lawyers on payroll on the premises Dirty buildings , dirty streets , almost zero pest control , buildings have plumbing from the 40’ with no option to shut off water in case of emergency , only by call to “ service desk “ which does not answer the phone or have someone to send ,work in the weekends Playgrounds in the summertime are plagued with drug addicted youth and adults and are not being bothered by the none existing security and makes children’s play time impossible Repair people are rude and expect a tip on arrival otherwise the respective repair will be done badly or not done at all No access to roof or any other face of the building in order to install a dish antenna Walls are extremely thin and made out of splash cement .... can’t hung anything No lights in apartments , only in kitchen and bathroom, need space lights Any small repair in tails in rent increase Weed smoking neighbors are not bothered or even questioned , so if you enjoy the smell of weed everywhere in the building ...great Advice to landlord: Property must go a complete renovation with emphasis on plumbing and staff”
