— 217 HAMILTON AVENUE · Staten Island“Unit 1D Pros: The area is nice and it's a gated community. Cons: The price doesn't match the apartment. Advice to landlord: Management needs to know how to talk to its tenants a little better and nicer”
— 217 HAMILTON AVENUE · Staten Island“Pros: I lived here for a long time, the security made me feel safe (even if they are a little nosy at times) and when there was problem it was fixed right away. The walks in the neighborhood during the day are quiet and beautiful. Cons: There is no change machine or card system in the laundry room so you need to bring your own quarters. The walls are pretty thin and so it does get a little noisy.”
— 217 HAMILTON AVENUE · Staten Island“Pros: The apartments are spacious. The staff is great. Cons: Loud music intermittently Advice to landlord: Have a 0 tolerance policy for repeat noise violators, ppl need to rest”
“Pros: Nothing at all this is the worst place to live Cons: Building manager is nasty and unresponsive. If you have a pest problem plan to deal with it on your own. Building is filthy and full of drug dealers. Hallways always smell like pot. Neighbors are not nice and are inconsiderate. Gun shots every night and screaming children. People allow their dogs to poop on the grounds and they don’t pick it up so watch where you walk. No heat in the winter, no water pressure. Building manager harasses you during all hours of the day for nonsense. Building manager is rude and a terrible woman! Advice to landlord: Get a new building manager and clear out that building of all the riff raff”
— 217 HAMILTON AVENUE · Staten Island“Pros: Rent is lower in the area then other places Cons: Mice everywhere m, 37 and counting in my apartment over the course of a year. Mice droppings in my cooking pans they’re on the counters. Owner won’t move me and pest control is useless on my 8th 311 report and waiting. Advice to landlord: Take care of paying customers who never miss a rent check especially when kids live in the apartment. It’s disgusting and bad business.”
