VILLAGE VIEW HOUSING CORP · avg 4.3 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: The lobby is clean. All floors seem reasonably clean and are maintained. The hot water and water pressure seem consistent. There doesn’t seem to be a pest problem, so maintenance of garbage and pest management is good. I like the fact that there is a doorman present most if the time. The upkeep of the property around the building is very good. Cons: Response time to problems such as maintenance calls for piping and plumbing are decent, but could be quicker. Advice to landlord: A 24 hour doorman situation would be nice. Keep up the good work.”
— 66 1 AVENUE · Manhattan“Pros: Receptive Súper & porters, recycling, trash incinerators on every floor, noise proof unless in hallways, great neighborhood, affordable, conveniently doubles as a fallout shelter Cons: The floor hall smells of the worst apt, sometimes pests from recycling or apt on your line, rooftop is off limits, Village View is political - drag yourselves to the board meetings!!! Make sure you’re holding management and the board accountable! If you know - you know.”
