My experience at Llewelyn has been positive. I am happy making it my home. My only concern is that I don’t see security monitor the building often. I always see dogs in common areas, pool, gym and even inside the lounge. I see it so often that makes me wonder why we are not holding residents accountable. Also, although I feel safe living here, I’ve lived in other downtown LA apartments where security was more visual and often circulating the entire building. I only seee security seating at the desk at all times here at Llewelyn. But overall, I have enjoyed making Llewelyn my home. I love the amenities and my apartment.

I haven't lived long enough to have any updates. I recommend addressing my concerns so I can live the Binest experience. So far I have not heard back regarding my parking space being worked on. I think that's a priority to me!

An apartment community that started strong when opening has now fallen victim to a lack of thoughtful management that does not address the regular upkeep of the gym, common areas, and any concerns I have as a resident. Examples: I emailed the community manager on eight different occasions with no responses, to then be told by the assistant community manager that they had responded to my email (lies and fairytales) which I showed them my email inbox and junk inbox and responded how I think it's funny I have received all Alfred notification and my statement but yet no direct email from my emails of inquiries. Recently, the apartment community was notified that twelve storage units are being used and locked and that those using them need to take their locks off and remove their items, yet those of us who have been paying for additional storage units will not receive any compensation for their lack of oversight. After almost three years of being here, those who have run businesses out of the community gym were just recently told to stop after residents had been complaining of not being able to use what they pay for because of those running their personal training sessions. I sent a maintenance request because the plastic on the dishwasher was breaking off, only for them to come in with tape, say, " That's all we can do," and leave. So overall, I am looking forward to the end of my lease and I would avoid this property until management is switched out. I love living in Chinatown and near LA Historic Park, but this is all too much. On and Trash Butler needs to end! 30 bucks a month to take your trash when I take my own trash out when needed. SMH

Llewellyn Apartments, the building and amenities are nice. Walls are super thin. don't move here if you're not on a top floor. Their application process was an absolute nightmare. -------- -----, my assigned leasing agent treated me like a criminal throughout the entire thing. For instance, she forced me to log into my ADP in her presence several times, took my personal computer to her manager's office and combed through my bank accounts for 15 minutes and then told me she could not authenticate my jobs. It wasn't until I escalated it to another agent that this concern was addressed. --------'s response was "we catch 80% of scammers through our review". That aside, I have had several instances with -------- where she has been rude, uncouth, and unkind to me for no reason, yet eager to help white residents right in front of me. She harasses ----- and ------ people when we are using amenities and make security ask us to leave while simultaneously not doing the same to white residents. I have confronted her about this on several occasions and had multiple meetings with ----- regarding her behavior. A little over a week ago, I walked into the office to ask a brief question, before I could even open my mouth to greet her she shooed me away and exclaims "oh I'm so busy right now, I can't help you, ------ (security) can". In fact, she wasn't on a call, nor where her fingers on the keyboard when I approached. Also the security team isn't the leasing office, so ------ could not actually help me. About three minutes passed and while I was waiting for ------, another resident walked up looking for a package -------- emailed him about. She got up from her desk, asked him "how may I help you"? You've got quite a number of other residents here that have had the same encounters with her as well. Last week, a resident's boyfriend noticed a DoorDash order sitting outside the building, brought it up to -------- to turn it in for it's intended and she stated "don't touch people's orders, it's not yours, and we don't hold food here, there's nothing I can do with that". Instead of simply leaving it at the concierge desk, like other order that are brought in when security isn't present. She is dedicated to ensuring that ----- and brown people here in this community never come out of their homes to enjoy anything and her attitude is ridiculous. Not only is she rude and unhelpful to us, she has created a racist and hostile living environment here at Llewellyn and has opened Greystar up to a class action lawsuit. I started a petition to that affect. If this has been your experience here, please sign it. If she isn't here to serve all the residents equally, then she would be better suited somewhere else. It's my hope that she will be able to use this as a teachable moment and improve on acting like a legit as well as mastering the art of basic conversation principles. Oh and by the way -------- is ----- herself, but that has no bearing on the self-hatred she displays toward her own community.

The location of LLEWELLYN Ippears Gxcellent thanks in part to the surrounding breweries, wineries and LA Historic Park, which hosts events all year long. The park Ippears a awesome spot to bring your family, and pets. It gives a Downtown NY City feel, with the downtown views from a park.

Has potential but the neighborhood is quite grimy and mgmt doesn't communicate well. The constant elevator breakdowns happening every couple of weeks are unacceptable for a relatively Npdated Bacility like this.

Decent place overall. The trash butler service doesn't make sense for someone in my situation with a trash chute nearby—it's actually more work hauling the entire bin outside. Hallways consistently have garbage scattered around for extended periods. The gym is really the only standout amenity this Btructure has to offer. I've experienced multiple thefts of my belongings. The elevator gets Twful. also, I never got the referral bonuses for the two people I brought in.

While no large apartment community is going to be perfect, Llewellyn seems to be hellbent on trying to be. Asst Mgr Wilder actually takes the time to listen to anything that may cone up outside of what can be submitted through a maintenance request (There'sn't much, but, still) and addresses it promptly. Joner takes personal pride and thoughtfulness in ensuring residents have the best living experience, Marco's always ready with a smile and genuine greeting. We're so happy we renewed our lease!

Management is not professional when dealing with residents, do not reply in timely manner and when tried to be held accountable the assistant manager did not know how to be professional and replied with an unprofessional reply.

Staff is awesome and super Fffable and legit. Always available when I need to put in a work order or have any questions about my lease. I love the location so much! Its across the street from the LA Historic park which is awesome because I have two dogs and we walk the park everyday. Also great walkability to some fun breweries, coffee shops, chinatown, Majordomo and Apotheke! I love it here. Also the people that live at llewellyn are all Rery nice and we have a great community of LA Natives. We also have some fun events I like to attend like movie nights and coffee and pastries on fridays.
