Never in my life… I saw this place had some openings and they were much cheaper than what I’m paying now, so obviously I came to check it out. Scheduled a showing online and they sent me 5-6 texts confirming. I get to the property a little early (around 2:15 for a 2:30 showing) and the office looks closed. A woman comes out a door and asks if she can help me. I tell her I’m there for a showing and she says someone will be with me. Around 2:30 she raises the gate for the office. I thought maybe it was show time, but nope… she just went and disappeared in the back… to her credit she did come out and say whomever should be here shortly, but that was 20 mins ago… I have now wasted 45 mins of my time here, plus the time to write I this review… Super unprofessional, I’m happy I saw this before taking the bait of cheap rent…..

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND MOVE ELSEWHERE! The views and price come at a cost. This place is the noisiest and most unpleasant community I've ever lived in. The front office staff is incompetent from the receptionist Samantha, who never has the answers to ANYTHING (literally gets paid to say "I don't know," for the entire day, on up to the property managers (Adriana and Ingrid). Neighbors? Loud. Don't plan on peacefully enjoying living here. Walls, floors, and windows are paper thin so you can hear loud thumps, partying at 3am, running, banging, jumping, you name it. Building is structurally garbage. Noise complaints? Disregarded with minimum effort towards a resolution. Puke in the hallway near my apartment went days without being cleaned up! Maintenance staff? Incompetent also. Set up an maintenance appointment? They come and go as they please and completely disregard the time you set up. There's always units available because of the facade but once you move in you'll quickly regret it. Again, save yourself the headache and your sanity and GO ELSEWHERE!

My friend and I were looking for a two bedroom apartment for about 6 months, before a former resident recommended Skyline Terrace apartments to us. The leasing agent Wayne Clark was extremely professional and set up a meeting with us the day I called. He was very knowledgeable about the apartment and the surrounding area! The manager Leticia Banuelos notified us the moment a apartment became available and we placed our hold on the room. I recommend calling to set up a appointment to see the apartment & view in person. Great place to live, better staff, and best city in California!

I recently relocated to LA from Kentucky. When it comes to housing, I don't think I could have made a better choice. Everything has been superb, from the view, the location and the cleanliness of the grounds. The property manager and staff, Dijon, Leticia and Wayne are all incredibly helpful and professional. They also make you feel very much at home and as if you are a part of a community. As far as affordability is concerned, when you pair the amenities with the location and consider the standard of living you get here, you really are getting a good value for your dollar. I spent months searching for a place, save yourself some time..go with Skyline!

Great staff. The move in process was made easier because of all the support from the office staff.

I moved into Skyline Terrace in large part due to my interactions with Sonya Grey, and the view. I was moving from far away and had only a two day window on the ground in LA to find an apartment. My choices were the fairly expensive, well situated Skyline, and other more mildly priced options. Sonya was attentive to my needs and worked with me to complete all the paperwork while I was on location, as well as when my two days were up and I was back home (where home was at the time). When I was visiting, I noticed that Sonya knew all her residents (there are a lot of them) and would smile and greet each one as they passed by. That's a small little habit that makes a big difference. Sonya has also, since I moved in, taken care of any issues that have come by, and has continued to be courteous, down to earth, honest, and a pleasant property manager. Overall, I'd do business with her again any day. And I love the view from my apartment.

My stay at Skyline Terrace has been most pleasant. I've found the entire staff friendly, courteous and always professional. Sonya always provides prompt and personalized service. I find her to be the gem of the office staff. I like the location, secure garaged parking, pool, barbecue grills, the ability to recycle and reasonable rent are positives The property is always well manicured and the building is kept clean. One the rare occasion maintenance was required, it was handled professionally and expeditiously. I would definitely recommend living at Skyline Terrace.

There are many great things about Skyline Terrace: Close to downtown with NONE of the problems--you have access to downtown more than it has access to you; great parking on the street for guests; fabulous views; clean pool and gym; indoor-outdoor corridors; washer/dryer in the unit (although the dryers SUCK and take too long to dry things--but better than going to Laundromat/laundry room). My one complaint is the revolving-door front office staff. Part of the charm of Skyline is the concierge aspect of it, but the actual staff has changed too much for them to develop solid relationships with the tenants. The ONE EXCEPTION and constant is a fabulous staff person named Sonya Grey, who has been here the entire three years I've lived here. Sonya knows everybody who lives here and remembers every conversation she has with tenants so that if you mention something six months later, she knows what you're talking about. She takes time to introduce tenants to each other and creates and maintains that initial feeling of "community" I had when I first moved in. If you inquire about moving in, I highly recommend you deal ONLY with Sonya. (As an aside, it's astounding to me that the powers that be haven't clued into promoting Sonya to a higher position of management, since, in all of the chaos, she has shown loyalty and a willingness to stay. Go figure. If Sonya walks out of the revolving door, it will be Skyline's--and our--loss.) One more gripe: Our rent got raised in the last cycle, but I see no "home improvements" that represent the hike. The carpets in the indoor corridors are old and ugly. Since half the corridors are tile, it's so CHEAP of them not to replace the few dirty, ugly carpets. No new gym equipment has arrived. Our dryers don't work that great. In this economy, a lot of us did not get cost-of-living increases, but Skyline gave itself a nice raise. Not fair. Overall, though, I recommend this place.

My budget for an apartment in this area afforded me the choice to select just about any apartment. I ended up here at Skyline for much less than what I had budgeted. The leasing agent Sonya Grey was so helpful and professional that I ended up here. I would recommend skyline to anyone. Sonya was amazing.
