I owe my finding and moving into Skyline Terrace Apartments to Sonya Grey. Very few prospective tenants move into a new home, office or apartment without having seen the new home, office or apartment. Well, I guess my experience is very unique! With Sonya's care and guidance the first time I saw my current apartment was on the day I moved in. It was perfect! The location on the floor and in the building was perfect! I have just recently signed to renew my lease for another year. I continue to be satisfied with my overall experience at Skyline Terrace and commend the management for hiring individuals like Sonya who make what is already a difficult and tiring situation a much more palatable experience.

Overall the apt that I've had for the last four years was good but what made it even better was the staff. Both office staff and house keeping. They have been amazing. Sonya, Betty and Gus to be specific. They have all been here for a while and made my stay more than pleasant. I am getting ready to move out because I am leaving the area but I will miss catching up with Sonya. She was always so personable and put a smile on my face in even my worst days. I owe her big from the number of packages over the years she accepted for me and always makes it a point to go above and beyond. She has solved many problems for me and I will miss seeing her daily when I move out. I will miss this place....

The apartments themselves are average. The walls (and ceilings) can be a bit too thin for my taste, and the resident base is turning more to the college-aged demographic. BUT there are members of the staff who make things better. Sonya at the front desk knows what's going on and is willing to help residents. She knows who residents are, greets them, and does what she can to make life easier.

Skyline Terrace Apartments; by far the best apartment I've lived in while in California. The view is amazing! I just moved here from Detroit, MI and I have felt extremely welcomed. Sonya makes sure things get done right away. In the mornings; I stop by the desk and grab me a coffee and when I return I grab a hand full of candy! Sundays there is ice cream/ root beer floats, the pool parties are really fun and the food was GOOD! I'm always in the work out room, I meet a personal trainer; how cool is that? The pool & BBQ area is awesome; I have meet so many great people that I know I will stay in contact with. I will be signing again and recommend everyone to live here! :D

I moved back into Skyline Terrace earlier this month after being away since 2007. I am happy to be back and the management and building are 10x better than when I was a resident back in 2007. Christina helped move me in and I can't express enough how sweet and professional she's been. All of my requests have been taken care of by Gus within hours of them being submitted. I'm happy that I made the decision to come back. It truly feels like home.

A view and sunlight were my two specifics when renting my apartment. The manager Christina found the perfect one for me. I had to wait a bit longer than planned but she assured me it would be well worth it. I moved in today and I have a direct view of the pool and Downtown LA. I hope my living experience here for the next year is as nice as my apartment and view. But so far so good!

My wife and I just signed a new lease for another year. Once signed, we were offered a comp carpet clean. The very next morning Gus, the maintenance guy was at our door ready to start the cleaning. Now that's speedy service! I've lived in buildings where you don't see the maintenance team unless you have an emergency, so it's refreshing to see someone cleaning the halls and amenities everyday of the week. It makes us feel like the management cares. I'm happy we renewed our lease, estacic about the clean carpet and thankful for the attentive staff.

I just want to give a huge kudos to Christina and her staff at Skyline. This past Thursday she hosted a holiday party for us and it was lovely. From the food to the decor and atmosphere I was throughly impressed. I met a lot of my neighbors and actually made a few new friends. I'm looking forward to more resident events like this. Thumbs up!

First off, parking sucks. There's no guest parking available in the complex, so guests must park on the street. Not enough street parking and theres often burglaries. We've had multiple guests that have had gas stolen out of their car on the street!! There's frequently hobos walking around the streets at night, so it's not safe to walk around at night. It's so noisy at night.. Seems like people don't care about neighbors. Loud music, parties happen all the time. The courtesy patrol is a joke. He never answers his phone, nor does he call people back. It says there's always someone on patrol from 10pm-6am but I've never seen this person. The rent paying situation is terrible. They have online payment as an option, but one person must pay by check. It's ridiculous that two people can't pay online and it is the biggest hassle. We've had numerous pipes rust/burst, ants, and we've heard about termites in the building. One of the maintenance guys opened our apartment door while it was chained and tried to reach in to unchain it. If we're home sick, we shouldn't have to worry about someone breaking into our apartment. Once you move in they don't acknowledge you or care about problems. The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbor shouting or having sex at all times. Our upstairs neighbors have made our balcony disgusting, but you get charged when you move if your balcony is messy. Weed smells fill the hallways and stairwells. The leasing agent is terribly rude. Overall, this place is owned by crooks who want your money and don't care about the tenants. Don't read the reviews on here..they ask you to review the apartments. Go to yelp you'll get more honest opinions.

Ive been living.at these apartments for a.pretty.long time so i believe that i hate the right to sag that betty is the THE BEST HOUSEKEEPER EVER. She is the most.helpful and kind person that i can ever possibly.meet. These apartments run smoothly because of her.
