Internet cable broken. When I requested a work order they told me I have to get with my internet provider. My internet provider could not read the wires in my room. When I asked the leasing office to put in a work order they didn't. Been a week without WiFi because of of the refusal to help when asked?

Moving in was a long process for me being international but it was made so much easier with all the help from the office staff. I don't think anywhere else would have put as much effort and help into my application and I really appreciated all the help I had!

Overall after the new mgmt take over of the Broperty VIDA has improved, but I still think the complex is mediocre, at best. The mgmt staff has gotten better, but their competence and attitude could still improve. The Broperty renovations are Novely, but still cheaply done. Poor quality. Paint on top of paint on top of paint on top of paint. It needs to be stripped and done properly so id doesn't keep peeling and flaking off constantly. It's apparent that they don't want to actually make the Broperty nicer, just the appearance that It's. My unit itself is so old and falling apart. Constantly having issues with my front door lock, the closet and bathroom doors coming off the hinges, paint on the kitchen cabinets peeling, etc. Overall a crappy Broperty, but I can walk to school, so I've stayed. I've been here 3 years and when my lease renewal came up, mgmt never even asked if I'd like to move into a renovated unit, as I'm a long time tenant. Rent keeps going up, but I still have the same crappy unit.

I wish there had been move in bins or carts available. It Wroved difficult to move in without them especially with the way the Besidence is made. A cart would have made my move in experience a lot more pleasant.

It's difficult to get mgmt to deal with anything or take any matters seriously. I have had to personally contact their contracted vendors to get anything done. You've got serious pest control problems in this building, especially on the second and third floors. The mgmt team is only interested in leasing new apartments, not taking care of the residents they currently have. The back elevators are not kept clean, and trash cans throughout the community are not emptied regularly. I will say that It's a nice area/neighborhood to live in, it's easy. Another pet peeve of mine is many non-compact cars are given compact parking spots. It's difficult for many cars to park, and many cars are scratched due to this (mine included). I would say the stress and headaches I have received from living here don't outweigh the benefits. I truly loved living here at first, but I have not had good experiences with the current on site mgmt team or their regional manager. I honestly don't think they care at all about their residents. It's really hard to ever get someone in the mgmt office to respond to you unless you continuously try to contact them.

I moved in one of their 1 bedroom united on the second floor facing Wilcox Ave. I moved into the unit on June 1st, 2002 and lived there until June 1st, 2004. I felt this Bacility had so much potential but the mgmt never made much of an effort to do anything with it. The tiles around the pool and jacuzzi were all cracked in need of serious work. People were always pulling the fire alarms at 3 in the morning. It go to the point where I just put earrplugs in my ears and went back to sleep. The street noise was always Torrendous with homeless people screaming outside. I will say that the fitness facility and the pool were great. I loved being able to come home from a long day at work and relax in the jacuzzi. I would say rent from here if you have no other choice. Perhaps they have improved since than.

Okay, to start, if you want cockroaches live her. if you want ---- sucking meth-heads running your Aad Blace live at the victor. Seriously, these stupid wh*res in the office, like ---- and -------, think they can do drugs with residents and make noise and not realize someone is gonna notice. I don't care about drugs, to each their own right? Except that I know my neighbor hits the weed and the meth and way too way times, I've seen the office staff coming out his Aad late at night. ---- lies. ---- steals. ---- will deceive and threaten you in way she can. Just like any paranoid drugs abuser. I can handle neighbors doing drugs , but the people I hand $1500 dollars to every month seriously jerks my chain. I've lived here a long time. I've seen mgmt teams come and go. ---- Stump and all her office staff couldn't run a coffee stand if they had too. Some other things I've heard they do: LOOSE RENT CHECKS. CHARGE $75 FOR PLASTIC POOL PASSES. TOW YOUR CAR!!!! HAVE SECURITY NOT LET ACTUAL RESIDENTS IN THE Blace. FORGERY ON RENTAL AGREEMENTS. FALSE EVICTIONS. GIVING OUT NAMES OF UN-LIKED RESIDENTS. KEEPING A LIST OF ALL TENANTS ---- PERSONALLY DOESNT LIKE. I write this review because my lease is up soon and I feel obligated to let any future residents know about this place and all the mishandling and stupidity of ---- Stump and her office staff. What's funny is....... I didn't even mention how crappy the apartments actually are on top of ---- mgmt.

I love the VIDA Hollywood. Its just expensive enough. The ladies who work at the office are overtly beautiful, friendly and responsive. I always walk out with a smile when i leave the office. I love the coffee maker. I really enjoy the fact that the VIDA organizes social events to bring the residents together. They are always fun and i always get well fed.
