I really like the layout of my apartment. The building is quiet, and the hallways are clean. My neighbors are friendly, and the gym is nice as well. I have adequate parking in the unreserved section of the garage. However, I dislike the fact that the cost to use the clubhouse is exorbitantly high. After paying rent, we also have to pay a $200 deposit and an additional $200 per hour to host a family event, which feels steep. It shouldn't be considered an amenity if we have to spend so much to use it. They also advertise a business center, but in reality, it's just a desk and a conference room. The online claims mention that there are computers, but how can it be a business center without a printer?

As a resident of the Olympic by Windsor in Downtown Los Angeles, I cannot help but share my positive experience with others. Living at Olympic by Windsor is about more than just renting an apartment. It's about being part of a vibrant community that values exceptional everyday living. The first thing that stands out is the location. The complex offers endless shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities in the heart of downtown LA. The friendly team and convenient amenities genuinely make a difference. The management office is top-notch, always ready to assist with any concerns or queries. A special mention goes to Willow, who played an integral role in making our move-in experience seamless. Her dedication and professionalism exemplify the quality of service at Olympic by Windsor. In addition to the stellar management team, the maintenance office deserves commendation. They ensure the complex remains in excellent condition, promptly addressing maintenance issues. The apartments themselves are superb, providing a comfortable living space that feels like a home rather than just a rented apartment. Overall, my time at Olympic by Windsor has been exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that offers more than just a space to live - it provides a place to belong.

READ THIS REVIEW VERY CAREFULLY. As of November 9, 2021, Windsor has gone out of their way to get a lawyer, who has issued me a "cease & desist" (photos attached below), so you can imagine how desperate these people are to keep me quiet. I'm aware of Yelp's policies and my rights to free speech, so this just goes to show how badly they want my reviews removed. SEE ALL PHOTOS ATTACHED TO THIS REVIEW. With that being said, my review is an objectively honest account of the terrible experience that I've had with Windsor. Zero false or misleading information :) Any perceivably "malicious" statements are also strictly my own OPINIONS, so they cannot be considered defamatory. NOTE: You will also see them responding to negative reviews on this Yelp page as damage control. TAKE HEED OF MY REVIEWS AND DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. They have also bribed residents into posting positive reviews and removing negative reviews in the past, and the photos I've attached are evidence of that. Also be sure to read the unrecommended/hidden reviews on this page! Aside from the poor standard of living, and even poorer management/customer service, here are things you should know about Windsor before considering on moving here: 1. GUEST PARKING -- $10 for 24 hours. And the parking garage is around the block, so your guests will have to walk all the way to/from the apartment building. Not safe or convenient at all. 2. LACK OF SECURITY -- I personally have seen homeless people in the common areas before, because the security is close to nonexistent and anyone can easily let themselves into the building. 3. PACKAGES -- Packages normally either go to the Amazon Hub or your mailbox. However, if your package is too large for either and the leasing office is closed, the delivery driver will leave your package out in the open in the mailbox room, so pray your stuff doesn't get stolen. 4. BROKEN GARAGE GATE -- Constantly has issues and takes forever to fix. If this happens with the resident parking garage (which I directly experienced), cars inside the garage cannot leave and cars outside cannot get in. This once happened to me late at night - I called emergency maintenance, and in my case, because nobody was able to fix it in a timely manner, I was forced to park elsewhere. 5. FALSE ALARMS -- Prepare for false alarms going off at 3-5am in the morning and waking you up from your sleep. During the time that I lived here, I can recount at least three false alarms being set off. 5. FLAT FEE OF $75 if you get locked out of your apartment. It costs $75 for an employee to walk into the office, get the master key, and let you back into your unit. Read that again. $75. That's correct. 6. SECURITY DEPOSIT -- Expect to pay the full amount (and possibly even more) of your security deposit in cleaning AND painting fees when you move out, regardless of the condition of you leave your unit in, because Windsor will find any reason to do withhold your deposit. Message me if you want more details on this. (NOTE: My roommate and I were given ridiculous cleaning/painting fees without any reasonable explanation as to why were being charged those fees and Windsor refused to give us a clear answer until they got a lawyer involved. IMPORTANT -- They did NOT send us photos of our unit or tell us that they believed we caused excess wear & tear until after-the-fact) 7. STAFF -- Extremely unresponsive to queries; ----, the property manager, is especially rude and has caused countless problems for me. Pics below of her subtly asking me to remove my negative review and bribing my roommate to post positive reviews. I could go on about how terrible of a person she is, but if you search her name on this Yelp page, you'll find plenty of former residents expressing their grievances with her. 8. MAINTENANCE -- Very slow to tend to work orders; I'm pretty sure they only have 2-3 maintenance employees for the entire building since I've seen the same ones over and over again. In most cases, I ended up taking care of the issue myself before they were able to. 9. SMELL -- The building exterior smells like piss and the inside often reeks of marijuana. Overall, this apartment building gets a 0/10 for me; there are absolutely no redeeming qualities about this place - and even if there were, they could not compensate for all the negative things. Just save yourself the headache and find a nicer place. At this point, I would much rather help others by warning them about this place than get my tiny security deposit back. It was never about the money, it was about the principle. Contact me directly and I will be happy to share my honest and unfiltered experience with you. As a matter of fact - if you are trying to find a place to live in DTLA, I'll even help you look for a better apartment building.

The Windsor community is so attentive and will accommodate and help with all needs. From the moment you walk into the lobby, it truly feels inviting. I appreciate the people and the experience here has been fruitful.

As being an international student, I could only contact leasing office by email and call. At first, I was quite worried about it feeling that there will be some point I miss out. Thanks to Jasmine from leasing office, she help me a lot and answer my questions. After I arrived there, everything is good and my furnitures are also moved to my apartment. THANK YOU!

The apartment and staff are great. Excellent location and close to everything. The only real issue is the building has no cell phone reception which is a real problem. Otherwise the place is great and safe. Its good value for money and I have had no other issues since moving in.

The apartment is good overall. But it would be nice if the apartment has more amenities. Im not saying the big amenities like gym and stuff. But Im talking about printer in the conference room, more games in the club room.
