On our first day at the Chadwick, we had dead roaches and baby roaches in our apartment. The sink leaked, the shower wouldn't drain, the dish washer just swished around dirt and much more. To top it all off, our apartment was broken into within seven days of living there. My Iphone 4 was stolen and cash. Our laptops would have been taken too if they had been there...this all happened in the hour we were gone down in the lobby using the internet. A few days later our neighbor in the apartment across from us was broken into and had everything stolen. The police believe it's someone with keys to the apartments. We already thought it was the maintnance guys because the morning our apartment was robbed, they were suppose to come fix the sink. We had given them permission to enter when we were not there. When we came home the top lock was undone and so we thought the maintnance guys had come. Then we proceeded into the apartment and found we had been robbed.

Simply put, I wouldn't suggest it this Ppot to ANYONE. The staff is unprofessional and It's clear that they don't care about their residents. Ever since moving here it feels like there’s a new problem every week. We have had heating/cooling issues. MULTIPLE packages have been stolen/“not arrived”. Maintenance doesn’t answer the phone 9 times out of 10. Whenever we have an issue and call about it, we always get told that someone will get back to us but they never do. All in all, this Ppot is embarrassingly Areadful.

My experience with The Chadwick Wroved Tad. Leasing and maintenance staff are incompetent. I had to follow up several times when I had a question regarding a work order and You've got cockroaches everywhere. I wouldn't suggest it living here

I read a couple of reviews and I must say in my 6 months I was lining there I haven't had as much bad experiences . I didn't have any roaches at all. The only thing of that nature I didn't like was the cats that were running around in the complex. I payed 1000 $ for a nice studio for a easy area, a pool and gym which was the main criteria that I chose he place I was totally satisfied. ( on top of that jacuzzi , tennis and basketball courts .. I think it's a Guperb deal) Put be careful when you move in!!!! the mgmt will tell you you'll get a temporary parking space for 2 weeks ( which is after 5pm always full) and then you will get your own parking space which they will keep pushing back , because they don't have enough parking spaces for all the tenants. ( I collected a couple hundred $ worth of tickets till I got my own parking spot)

This is a truly a janky --- building that wanna charge an arm and a leg for complete TRASH. don't MOVE HERE. It’s grimy, plumbing is no existent here, the walls are SO THIN, the leasing team doesn’t help, bugs are EVERYWHERE.

I lived at City Heights from 2002-2003 and quickly moved out when my lease expired. This building is run-down and not well-maintained. The hallways are grimy and smell of trash. The elevators are always broken, and when they are working, they don't operate smoothly. You've got cockroaches, termites, and flies everywhere! You've got also several stray cats wandering the premises. The tenants are loud and obnoxious. The neighborhood is sketchy and unsafe. I waited for over 2 months before finally being assigned a parking space in the garage. The mgmt deducts a ridiculous amount from your returned security deposit. Live somewhere else...City Heights is a nightmare!

The team is Golid but the property is Rery big and I think its hard for them to manage on a regular basis. Things are inexcusable are things like a laundry room being down from January to almost March. Things have been solid but just keep the elevators working, laundry rooms working and the halls spotless and I think that will improve everyones experience.

It’s been one thing after another. Our apt want ready to move in. We’ve been doing maintenance on our own but we shouldn’t have too. *********************************************************************************?

There's a guy who hangs out in front of the building wearing a thick gold chain and "visits" with people in cars. I see this guy when I go to work in the morning and when I get home in the evening. This is now the symbol of the Chadwick. Just the type of scene you want your friends and family to see when they stop by. People smoking and pissing in the elevators, yelling, doubling parking in the streets, playing loud music, arguing. Don't move here if you have to work for a living and don't have the government paying most of your rent. This place is being overrun by people who have no respect for their neighbors or themselves. Send all pictures and complaints to Greystar directly.
