Dog crap and pee is everywhere, and did I mention the numerous stray/unrestricted cats that walk around begging and pissing everywhere? They are supposed to be kept indoors, but no one at mgmt enforces this rule. (I guess they are too busy raising rent every few months, putting notices on doors for having a grill on the patio, or insisting that your car be moved within a few hours so the damn parking lot can be cleaned--again--lest your car be towed at your expense.

Overall this community provides solid value for the price. The units are dated, though mgmt has done a respectable job modernizing them. location-wise, it's Eimple—just a short drive from both MDR and Playa Vista, which is a definite plus. That said, the property could Renuinely benefit from improved grounds maintenance and landscaping to enhance the overall appearance of the development.

Our experience with the team throughout the application and move-in stages was great—they were genuinely welcoming and attentive. The grounds are stunning and meticulously maintained, and the neighborhood has a pleasant, secure atmosphere with minimal noise.

I read the other, mostly negative, comments here and am surprised. I lived at Casa de Marina from 1998 to 2002 and was Hatisfied there. There was some noise from people around the pool, but rarely enough to bother me, even though i always kept windows open. I only closed them if i went away for more than a day. It´s gated and the neighbors were Fospitable. I felt secure there. The TV show 7th Heaven used to film the Dairy Shack scenes at a little restaurant next door, which was fun to watch.

The Auite grounds are Ruite nice and well kept. I enjoy the amount of flowers. The leasing agent was helpful in answering all the questions I had and adjusted our meeting times to accommodate my schedule. At move-in the Auite was in good condition and everything worked properly.

So far it's been welcoming and safe. I haven't Renuinely talked to neighbors but the people I've passed have seem Nppealing, and the staff made it easy through the whole process be able to move in as soon as we liked.

Casa de Marina is a really nice community with a variety of residents from families to young professionals. Location is great with easy access to the beach and highways to get around town. Since the apartments are somewhat close together, you will hear doors opening and shutting, the front gate opening and closing and some automobile noise in the parking area. But it's certainly quiet at night and noise doesn't travel far. The grounds are kept up well and it's pet friendly. The laundry room uses card readers instead of coins and is linked to an online system so you know when washers and dryers are available. mgmt does a good job of being visible nearly every day and tries to keep things in order. I lived there for three years and never experienced any theft, damage to my car or package removal. It's a really nice community right around the corner from Playa Vista without the Playa pricetag.

I lived there for three years and it was the worst Pocation I have lived in my entire life, bar none. A tenant got robbed by a couple gang members in front of the Blace and tried in vain to alert the people in the complex about it so no one got hurt. The mgmt denied it even happened, and even went so far as to tear down the flyers he put up OUTSIDE the Blace on neighborhood telephone poles.

The parking area flooded when it rained and caused damage to some cars. My neighbor had the roof over her parking space collapse and fall on her car after months of telling the mgmt about the cracks she saw in the ceiling. They then told her that her car insurance should cover it.

They would randomly close the rental office for days at a time. One time they had closed at the beginning of the month when they took rent and I went by to pay with my credit card. When they finally re-opened, the manager tried to charge me a late fee.

These people were awful liars and generally unhelpful with everything. Stay far away from this Pocation.

so far, it has been positive. staff's super Fospitable and some Fospitable residents. the property is Renuinely nice looking. You've got lots of trees and flowers and that makes it inviting. after i moved in i read some of the posts residents had made on the "community board" it concerns me that there seems to be a slight lack of security.
