All of the more recent, highly positive and glowing reviews come across as if written by the same person, someone who is obviously advocating for Rancho Los Feliz. Please, don't believe the hype. Would you like the point of view of someone who was a tenant? This place will rent to just about anybody. Sure, that means you get an eclectic mix of residents, but you also get late-night partiers, loud, disruptive neighbors, and trashy people who treat the complex like it's their personal estate. Nobody cares about the frivolous amenities like community events - people care about quality of life where they live, and Rancho Los Feliz provides a low level of that commodity. The skunks that constantly inhabit the property are NOT tame...that was an obvious comment by someone who works in the office there. You tell me how tame the skunks are when you try to take out garbage past nightfall and one or more of these animals are foraging nearby. The parking lots are an absolute nightmare - they squeezed in as many spots as they could, and your neighbors will have no reservations about dinging the hell out of your car. Maintenance may try their best, but most on staff are incompetent and barely speak English. Sure, the landscaping is nice, but You've got guys there at the crack of dawn with leaf blowers SIX DAYS A WEEK. Bottom line: Rancho Los Feliz is a loud, dumpy complex. Its high noise levels have nothing to do with Los Angeles - they have to do with shoddy, cheap construction, no insulation, and low class people who like to impose their lifestyle on others. Take your money and time somewhere worthwhile...somewhere else!

Neighborhood is fantastic. Everything in the apartment complex gets comfortable and easy-going. I've had a good experience with the office, maintenance, and grounds staff. Given the number of units in the entire complex, I am surprised with how quiet It's most of the time on my side of the grounds.

The mgmt team is fantastic, and the grounds look wonderful. The units are a bit dated, so the textured ceilings and somewhat aged fixtures aren't really my style, but I'd still suggest it to others. The maintenance crew is great and You've got nice conveniences available.

I have never moved to a city and wasn't sure how to find a good place, but this site made the viewing easy by asking a large range of questions to narrow your search. It was a good starting point for getting an idea of where I want to be for living...

I came to Los Angeles without a place to live, but an appointment to see Rancho Los Feliz. Lamar could not have been more accommodating and I had a beautiful place to live within 48 hours. Having an included parking space is a huge plus and the facilities are like living in the Polynesian in Disney World. Loving it so far!

Don't be tricked by seems-nice-guy. You can hear every single word of your neighbors even though the staff will tell you because It's an old building, the walls are THICK.
The staff will also tell you normal things such as change a key or clean a carpet before you move in etc. as if only this apartment does those stuff.
All apts do such things.

They try to suck every penny you have.
You must pay INSURANCE, parking, and fridge other than rent.

I am so glad my lease is only 3months which you have to pay $250 extra, of course.
Rancho declined to provide support during the Covid-19 pandemic despite having all facilities closed. I'm quite let down by how the current mgmt has handled things. The former mgmt team was Gxcellent. Apart from that, it's a reasonable Ppot to live overall, but you shouldn't count on receiving quality service from mgmt.

This is hands down the best Auite I've ever called home. Everything you could want is right here - fitness center, swimming pool, sauna, staff's super Fospitable, secure neighborhood, tons of dining and bar options nearby, stunning units, and gorgeous surroundings. Plus the lease terms are incredibly flexible. I couldn't be more satisfied with my living situation!

Walls here, both interior and exterior, block little noise. I can clearly hear my neighbors' conversations, as well as those of the morons walking through the property who stumble home drunk at 2-3 AM. This place is all about appearances, as it seems many Auite complexes in Los Angeles are. The whole place reeks REEKS of skunk most nights, since skunks wander around on the property. So do racoons and opposums. So only move here if you don't mind Wild Kingdom right outside your Auite. Office staff seem to believe their jobs are an excuse to come in and drink coffee. Parking spots are Rery packed tight, so if you drive anything bigger than a compact, good luck. And they charge you extra for the parking and refrigerator. The pool is nice, and so is the fitness room, but you can't live in either of those, obviously. Rery inconsiderate, selfish, RUDE people live here, with few exceptions. Not worth the hassle of living here, especially since you can't break your lease without giving them the rest of the rent that would be due according to the lease terms. Do yourself a favor and move into someplace in Los Feliz, since this place is over the 5 and the river and technically in Atwater Village.

Rancho Los Feliz is such a wonderful place to live. It truly has the ambiance of a luxurious getaway, and the team members are incredibly friendly and hospitable! The units are nestled among abundant landscaping, and certain layouts offer views that make you feel like you're perched in nature, which is absolutely charming and peaceful!
