Basically Value, to me, means getting my money's worth. And for what I am paying I would definitely say it is not a fair value for the price. We should have FAR better wifi/internet connection, it only reliably works half the time even when there is only one device using that wifi at that time. It seems like if there is even just one cloud in the sky, the internet nearly stops. Also, many times in the middle of a basketball game or any show the tv will freeze and just show a No Signal alert for the next few hours just to say "f-you" to the viewers. And lastly, stop with the damn water stoppages or at least do them when people are asleep rather than IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY.

I had a great experience living at the property because of all friendly staffs and the leasing manager. However, some issues such as false fire alarms, no hot/cold water, too much noise outside courtyard made me feel uncomfortable and dissatisfied with staying here. On top of that, I felt the price is pretty expensive, compared with other properties. But, the amenities like a pool, a gym here are great, and people are super nice!

In general, I??™m quite satisfied with the university Gateway. They respond to my requests quickly, offer free food every week, have study rooms with Mac??™s and a printer. However, sometimes they shut down the hot water for a long time, it??™s very inconvenient.

Move in was unfortunately disappointing. We arrived to our apt. with a missing door, filthy bathrooms and air vents, and massive stains all over the carpeting that we had to pay to clean ourselves. The staff mid way through changed and were lovely. Nice location.

Very friendly place to live and has lots of amenities! A caring and professional staff. Great outdoor space, study rooms, and is well lit at night. A place to meet new friends and feel secure. I would recommend University Gateway to anyone.

My first semester, other than my bed not fitting in the room, was fine. But, my second semester was horrific. We had a leak or a very distinct oder in our room which needed serious attention (we all got woken up from it at 2am) and went down to security to see if he could do anything, he did NOTHING. We suffered through the smell. Our bathtub clogged so bad it overflowed our bathroom, and the roof on our floor was not put in for about a month. But the staff who brings in free tacos, wings, and other fun things are the best and they bring the GW community together.

Disgusting and very unclean. Dim light in rooms. Ceilings are concrete. Carpet on floors are old and dirty. Was expecting a brighter and cleaner apartment. Very difficult to take shower since there is little ventilation. Most of the water gets stained on the walls.

Don't trust the model rooms. While the distance from USC is great, the rooms leave much to be desired and the staff are unhelpful. They also tried charging me $65 more each month than what was stated in my lease until I argued with the account manager, Steven who reluctantly removed the unlawful charge.

please avoid this place at all costs. it looks nice when you're touring it, however, there are many downfalls that should serve as deal breakers: 1. the fire alarms go off at least twice a week, often at inconvenient times such as the middle of the night when you have a big exam the next day. they are all false alarms. staff seems to have no motivation to fix this issue. 2. the amenities are ----. wifi barely works in the COMPUTER LAB let alone the rooms. my roommate and i just bought our own router. printer in computer lab always breaks down 3. if you lose the small plastic key to your room, it's $50 to replace. if you lose the plastic swipe card to access the elevators, that's $50 to replace as well. 4. the elevators break down frequently. this is especially great when you're in a rush to class

The one good thing about Gateway is how close it is to USC campus. But Gateway is strife with problems: among them are 1) spotty wifi connection, 2) cockroach problems, 3) constant water outages, and 4) constant (false) fire alarms. Fix these problems and Gateway could be a great place to live.
