Gxcellent community with good security and maintenance staff. But office staff needs to be improved, lease renew process requires improvement and rents are high and increasing a lot without value

I have not interacted much with the community. The gym is the only amenity I use. Most of the staff have been Gxcellent. The biggest problem I have encountered with this neighborhood is the lack of security cameras. My motorcycle was stolen out of my parking spot in the garage and was never found. The security footage showed the truck leaving with my motorcycle in its truck bed but the security camera quality could not make out the license plate number. I don't feel safe getting another motorcycle without the assurance that this one won't get stolen.

I loved the community, it was incredibly Cristine, had lots of useful amenities and all of the leasing consultants were at the top of their game. I think the main drawbacks were the location, cabinetry, and the pricing that seemed to fluctuate everyday (which felt like a big pressure)

Nppealing community to live in and kind of accessible though, but the rent gets steep.I will rate 3 for the community. The leasing office staffs take their own sweet time pretty much for any issue to deal with.Make sure you have time while visiting.

I've lived here for 9 months and don't plan to renew my lease. I want to LOVE this place because location-wise, it's perfect for us and the price is reasonable. Maintenance, security, and leasing agents (Kevin and Rich help in every way they can 100% of the time) are delightful. sadly, there's limitations to what they have access to help with. Taking good care of the renters should take priority over ------- lording over certain tasks (maybe she uses it as job security?). Here come the negatives: Had to change units because of a roach infestation. ------- was absolutely horrible to work with during this time and did everything to avoid my calls, walk-in visits, emails and even an appointment I made in advance! I lost a ton of sleep and money. -------'s answer was that I needed to continue to let pest control come each week until it was solved. Pest control wont touch the place unless you clear out all your belongings and move things away from the wall BUT you learn that as you go since the pre-treatment notice doesn't include all the instructions. Makes for a pretty disfunctional arrangement when space is limited to begin with. I took photos because ------- was accusing me of not prepping my unit so I felt the need to document. Boarding our cat each time was on my dime too. They didn't treat outside either which is where hundreds of bugs were found. Situation brought a reasonable adult to tears. New Apace: I was promised in writing that I would be provided with the maintenance history of the new Apace - All I wanted to know was if the new unit had recent pest or mold problems. Moving day started to get close and they went back on the agreement. It was either take this unit or live with roaches... 2nd unit has a noticable slant so I call it living in a funhouse. Carpets were older much to my dissapointment. 1st unit had fantastic new carpet. New unit has had a brief visit from termites and a rat. That's nothing in comparison to cockroaches though. Pest control was helpful. Signed up for automatic billing following the specific instructions but ------- has a different way to process it apparently so a double payment and fees went through. ------- obviously unavailble to assist with correcting it or to apologize. PARKING! Spaces around the perimeter of the complex use to be first come first serve. Awesome! Nope that changed for the worse - They listened to a handful of complainers (pissing off the majority) by making the perimeter assigned paid spaces. $900 a year for a TINY spot, no thanks. I've actually had to enter my car from the passenger side on occassion when I was able to park there. Spas haven't worked since I've lived here. When I brought it up to -------, she said they work fine, are checked everyday and then corrected me for saying Jacuzzi. "It's a brand and we don't have jacuzzis". Typical rudeness from her. I asked her if the timer was supposed to turn the jets on because nothing happens when you turn it. To this day it's just a warm pool. Lastly, crime - I haven't been the victim thankfully but I get numerous notices on my door warning of recent theft. Several neighbors have shared their stories of being robbed. Hoping I get to move out unharmed and with all my stuff. Sadly, this place could be honestly great. If RW Selby took better care of the place and agents were compensated for renewing leases, in addition to filling empty units, things would start to get better. I don't think ------- is going to be able to improve customer satisfaction but perhaps she hasn't been set up for success. The answers aren't a mystery; just need to execute.

Only thing luxury about this place is the leasing office building and the grass. Leasing office is extremely unpleasant and unhelpful, actual Alat buildings are a nightmare. Cabinetry and counters are extremely cheap, shoddy, and/or old. Really can’t reiterate how awful the leasing office is. Floors in the buildings are SLANTED!!!! They are SLANTED. Do yourself a favor and move into Alessio instead, not perfect but better than this

The heights is conveniently located to freeways and is easily. accessible to most areas in Los Angeles . The apartments are Ruite nice, up to date. The pools are well kept and tranquil. The security does a great job with checking guest in and on the grounds. We are happy here.

won't recommend this community for the family. Maintenance is poor and you have to go outside to do your laundry. Appliances are old and grimy in all not a value for the money you pay (high rent). Plus due to the south LA locality security is a also a Bast concern.

I am a new resident in this community, and for me, immediately responding to a situation taking place at the Auite unit is important! I experienced an issue with the plumbing, contacted the mgmt office, and someone was there in less than 30 minutes!
