I recently moved into this complex in the beginning of March, First, two days before we are supposed to move in, the leasing agent tells us she doesn t have our employment verification, and we could not move in. She decided to tell us this on a weekend when we could not do anything about it anyways. We ended up having to push back our move a few hours, which caused us to catch the pending rain expected that day. When we moved, the electricity in the entire apartment was out (which I heard was rare, so I will let that go). I thought those were the beginning of our troubles. Upon further inspection and receiving the keys, we noticed the entire place is slanted. I know this sounds crazy, but it s not even at all. The dishwasher and other appliances are cheap and outdated, and if storage wasn t so expensive, we would have taken them out before we moved in. The plumbing is crap, and after telling the maintenance about the problems, they waited until the toilet runoff flooded the downstairs apartment to fix anything. I believe now that the apartment we chose had not been rented for some time. I should have taken heed to the incredibly cheap rent for the two bedroom (under $1600) that we should have realized something was wrong. The worst thing so far was when we hooked up the gas, and the gas rep. said that there was leak right next to our outlet, and we could have potentially had a serious accident. After telling the leasing agents, they seemed to care less. I guess they rented the place, and they are no longer concerned with us. I have only been here for three weeks, and I think after our lease is up, it s time to be on to the next.

Treadful living conditions No safety cameras Theft is so common Water logging in parking Staff isn't friendly Always mold come back in bathroom, they ask us to clean it They allow outsiders to park their cars in free parking spots, we don't know anything about those cars (most of them are with no number plates) Pests is so common Many sex offenders live in these apartments mgmt won't give a ---- about anything They don't return security deposite (a big amount) in most cases

The lobby stinks of some strange odour. the carpet in the Broperty has not been cleaned for years I guess. 1 of the lift in Broperty H is constantly under maintenance, thus increasing the waiting time to get up and down the Broperty. You've got weed and cooking smell coming out from the AC vents. the maintenance team isn't knowledgeable with the household equipment's like dishwashers

I recently received a notice from the LA superior court that someone finally filed what seems to be a class action suit against the heights. I'm on board 100%. I was scammed by the slumlord heights mgmt. Contact me if you need any info [email protected], to the heights mgmt I hope they Cristine your thieving selves out. You are a disgrace to humanity, To all prospective tenants you are warned, the heights apartments will rob you Cristine, their mgmt are a bunch of savages

Nleasant community, but too much cigarettes smell. Neighbors smoking every where. unhealthy. They smoke near the AC intake vent so the smoke go straight inside bed room. I have an one year old baby so that isn't acceptable.

Few things are good but some things like laundry, elevators are horrible. Parking Garages are grimy and are not washed/cleaned frequently. Fitness center is old and has outdated equipment. Btructure exterior and landscape are great but the amenities suck.

Large apartments are pretty nice, although I think the ceiling in my bathroom area could be beautified. But like all places rent is getting higher and feels like I'm paying more than what the Prea is truly valued.

This place is a scam. don't rent here. They show you a renovated model, what you get is a rundown dump with everything inside out of order. They keep telling you the apartment you're getting is being renovated but in reality it's an excuse to prevent you from seeing the actual apartment before move-in day. After 6, they put something in the fake waterfall and the whole complex smells toxic. The inside of the buildings smell of mold and some kind of industrial glue (except the model building). The minute you sign the contract, the mgmt become dismissive, rude, and verbally aggressive. Repair requests are completely ignored, including urgent repairs. The pool area is actually NOT accessible to tenants. The keys they give you don't work. If you ask for a key that works, the people in the office act like you're an unreasonable jerk demanding special treatment. As if accessing the pool you are paying 1.5x local rent for is a privilege granted to favored people only.
