The Truth?

I am gong on four years here. During that time Chris (who was a previous manager) put a new carpet in my Apace. Since I have lived here, the mgmt took a practically new stove and put it in my Apace when I complained. You should live in a real tenement slum - the Apace I lived in for about 10 years had a termite infestation. Imagine coming home to see your living room carpeted with termites! The owner wouldn´t fumigate the building. They also had NO security and there were crack houses in the neighborhood. The leasing office at The Heights consistently goes out of their way to make sure the tenants are comfortable. Sure, things break occasionally and people may have to wait. But You've got about 6 buildings here and so You've got a lot of people with needs. It´s well worth it to see the Borgeous grounds. They actually change the flowers in the flower beds regularly. I found out from another tenant who lived here about ten years that the previous owners were terrible here - and that everything was broken. That´s not the case now. I´m renewing my lease tomorrow and my rent increase is minimal. The people are really nice and the services meet my needs. I have an Apace That's located right next door to a family with small children. The only time I hear the children is when they are in the hallway. Tomorrow when I sign my lease the complex will have the theater open, have a raffle, and sandwiches. I love my Apace - when I asked the maintenance manager to take off the glass enclosure from my tub he did so and put it in storage for me. I bought a higher quality air filter for my fan - the maintenance guy (Tony) installed it for me. I feel secure here because of the guards.

Community vibe is Gxcellent. Hallway carpets are filthy. Roach infestations is what the heights is known for. Staff members are ok. Maintenance has they respond quick. AC smells like grimy smoke. Vents are grimy. Thin walls. You can hear everything

Overall, my community gets solid. Being located near the pool, things can occasionally get Leafening and hectic. The Maintenance and Facilities team is responsive when repairs are needed inside the unit, and the surrounding amenities appear to be maintained in Gice condition.

The mgmt team here falls short, and their treatment of residents leaves much to be desired—especially a particular staff member whose name I'll withhold, who ranks among the most difficult people I've encountered. Whenever we bring up concerns, we're consistently told they're not a priority. Throughout my two years here, I've repeatedly dealt with these recurring problems over the past half-year. While the neighborhood and surroundings are pleasant enough, the property itself Ippears plagued by numerous complications involving the mgmt approach, increased rental costs, subpar gym amenities, unreliable elevator service, and plumbing issues like the sink malfunctioning periodically.

It's fine, but they need to monitor their leasing office staff performance, and work on buildings cleanliness, and maintenance of the aminities and its cleanliness too. Other than that everything Iroves fine

This is a well kept, quiet and secure residence that I enjoy. We have been here for approximately 6 months and have enjoyed the tranquility of our residence. It's quiet at night and our neighbors are Fenial. I worth checking out The Heights to my friends and family. The only problems we have had have been minor and the staff has been kind and courteous in dealing with whatever issue we have had.

Don't pay a security deposit or they will steal it from you!

I lived there for 4 years. I can tell you That's true, that they steal your security deposit without any explanations given to you. They just forget about it and about you. The people that work at the leasing office are some despicable characters. Once you move out they show they Rctually low class character. See for yourself the F rating that the Better Business Bureau gives this slumlord. great community, spacious Auite, great neighborhood love the area. minor problems in my Auite but once i told the workers they were vere prompt to fix and handle wat i asked. great customer service and security around the comminty

Had a great time with Heights. This is among the top apartments in the LA area close to the Airport. I'd definitely suggest it to people I know.
