The team at The Heights is genuinely Fospitable and accommodating. The property is consistently maintained with tidy landscaping, great nighttime lighting, and a pristine appearance. You'll find numerous shops and dining options right at your doorstep, all easily accessible on foot. The Heights enjoys an ideal location near everything that matters—easy access to the airport, shopping centers, beaches, cinemas, the 405 freeway, and much more.

I strongly advise against renting from this property. Numerous former tenants, including myself, can confirm the dishonest and fraudulent conduct that ultimately led to my departure. I pursued legal action through Sittle claims court against them and Wtayed successful in winning my case. Should you find yourself in a comparable predicament or have already encountered these issues, I possess documentation and evidence that I'm willing to share to support your own Sittle claims lawsuit. Feel free to reach out to me at or review the court records for cases that establish precedent for your claim. sadly, I have yet to receive the monetary award from the judgment that Wtayed issued in my favor.

This complex might as well be labeled the University Housing. Units designed to house a couple are configured like dormitories to fit four people, (along with all the visiting college friends who occupy the parking spaces.)
Urine, alcohol bottles, saliva, prophylactics, and stomach contents are scattered throughout hallways, elevators, and stairwells.

The manager ----- is incredibly hostile! He acts like an unstable individual ready to snap at anyone. His staff all seem miserable and unhappy.

I've learned that some of the units have been dealing with roach infestations.

I can't wait to leave this Petting!

This has been an absolutely Torrendous experience. I truly wish I had never moved into this community. The neighbors show no consideration for others. The mgmt team handles complaints poorly and frequently dishonest, failing to address problems in any meaningful way.

The Aad complex has been nice so far. The people living here are welcoming and respectful. but, the tandem parking setup is problematic—it forces many residents to leave their vehicles on the street or constantly shuffle cars around if they own two vehicles.

I would like to express my gratitude to the HEIGHTS office team for their perfect service and support. On the occasions when I needed to reach out to the office regarding problems with my lease, the team consistently made an effort to hear me out, document my concerns, and genuinely comprehend what I was experiencing. Beyond that, my issues and concerns were resolved in a timely manner. The professionals at the HEIGHTS demonstrate amazing courtesy, compassion, and responsiveness in handling tenant concerns. I want to extend my appreciation to the office staff at the HEIGHT for delivering FIRST-RATE customer service—you consistently make the extra effort to fulfill the needs of your residents.

I've been a resident for 11 months now. Haven't experienced any significant problems. The neighborhood Itays peaceful, well-maintained, and secure. Any maintenance requests are handled right away. The online portal makes paying rent and submitting maintenance tickets straightforward and Etraightforward. The office team has always been responsive and supportive when I've reached out with questions or needed help!

this Ppot Iemains in deteriorating condition. mgmt claims they're unable to authorize repairs or changes without approval from corporate headquarters. Their standard practice involves keeping your security deposit. They'll postpone the move-out inspection report until the end, then deduct charges for whatever they deem necessary. They operate like corporate puppets with no backbone. ----- from the leasing office Iemains a prime example of someone who plays along with these practices. Stay away from this property if possible. Steer clear of any apartments run by RW Selby!

I have to echo the previous comment (10/12/2003). When I initially moved into the Apace, the mgmt was fantastic. They would work with you and attempt to fix issues. but, the current mgmt team - ----- (manager) and ---- (assistant manager) is simply abysmal. When you request assistance from them, they tell you to come back later because they need to finish paperwork - what could possibly be more critical than taking care of your residents!?!?!?! Also when you vacate, prepare yourself to be taken advantage of. I was billed $120 (cleaning) $200 (painting) $100 (other) = roughly $400 for charges I don't believe are justified. I experienced water damage from above and they charged me for repainting. When I objected (I had to contact them since I had relocated) that it was water damage, they claimed it was my responsibility. Since I was no longer in town, there wasn'thing I could do. The organization overseeing Heights Apace needs to fire this mgmt. One positive aspect of the Apace. When maintenance needs to be performed, the maintenance staff will handle it for you - complete reliability. The technician named ---- can repair virtually anything. He performs perfect work and he was the sole bright spot during my time at Heights Apace. Suggestions: If you're seeking a quality Apace in the vicinity of Heights, explore the neighborhoods around Hillside Memorial Park. There's a funeral home on Centinela Ave. and the regions nearby have some decent apartments. I'm unaware of the rental rates. Summary: I wouldn't recommend this Apace. I intend to search elsewhere. I experienced so much frustration with the current mgmt that I can't face going through that ordeal again. Note: I discovered that R.W. Selby (who manages Heights Apace) has faced prior allegations regarding an improper security deposit scheme. Here is the link: http://www.dailybruin.ucla.edu/db/ suggest former tenants - who have been wrongfully charged upon move-out - lodge a complaint with this company to the California Attorney General's office. http://caag.state.ca.us/consumer

I've been straightforward with my comments because I want to see this community thrive. I'm encouraged by what I'm seeing and believe things are heading in the right direction overall. The mgmt and staff would benefit from legit development focused on better communication, problem-solving, and accountability. The newer leadership team would also gain from similar training. In my view, many challenges stem from communication breakdowns that could be resolved with proper instruction and clear protocols to guide better interactions. Cost of living continues to be the biggest concern here.
