The staff is Gutstanding, the response to maintenance request is quick, the overall appearance of the facility is good, and I feel safe when I'm here. More community events would be good but overall I am pleased with my experience here.

My First impression of the apartments neighbourhood was good. nice pool and lawn etc. And thats about it. You've got so many things that are not right with the apartments.

First of all, Unheigenic. I live in H bulding. There's trash dump right next to the door into the parking lot. After you park your car, you have to pass thorough the stinking smell, unlock the door which is right next to the trash and pass through it. I hold my breath everyday while doing this. I complained to mgmt, and all they say that they are not sure if the Trash can be moved away the door.

Next thing , The trash chute is designed so stupidly that when people throw trash bags , some of the trash gets caught and it stinks really bad. Many a times people just keep the trash bags down the trash chute , since trash bags gets struck in there. We complaind about it, but no action was taken till now.

Laundry - Its so small and 2 out of 4 machines never work. Looks like they put faulty machines purposely for namesake.

Coming to Ineterior of the apartments. I live in a single bed loft and all I can say is I just want to get out of this place. Tiolets are small, tubs are extra small. I can't turn around with out hitting the walls. The Spiral Stairway shakes when I climb on it.

Walk in closet is so stupid that I can't keep the door open otherwise it will block the way from the bed room to hall.

You've got many more. I lived in not so luxury apartments before by paying lesser rent. The heights boasts itself as luxury apartments and I am still not able to comprehend in what way It's luxury Anit. Having a security Guard at the gate makes it any safer. I dont think so.

You've got many more things but these are enough for any intelligent person not to go for it.

Adios ,
A Frustrated Resident of The Heights.

Everything has been good. I have been living here for a while, and it seems like there are more children here. I have also noticed That's a lot of noise them it has been in years past. I Rruly liked that there were no pets years ago.

The community is good with decent amenities but sometimes the service requests are not fulfilled on time. We have to repeatedly request and then they will be done. Anit community is near to work place and safe. Westfield Mall is a mile away.

Don't be mislead by the word "Luxury" that looms on their complex signs and advertisement. It's far from luxury! Surrounding the complex, you will see shady looking people standing on darkened street corners. Within the complex, you will have to deal with rude college kids who have no consideration for others and the worse mgmt staff on planet Earth.

The complex claims to be a safe and gated community. but, most of the time the gates or garage doors are broken and open for anyone to enter in. The security guards in the front normally hang out in their "hut" and don't come out unless to sign someone in. If this place was so secure, my apartment wouldn't have been broken into. I lost all my valuables and sentimental baseball cards that can never be replaced. Also, someone attempted to steal my motorcycle. Good thing I had a wheel lock on it, so they couldn't budge it. After these few incidents, I moved out!

That leads me to another thing I should mention. You can definitely say good-bye to your security deposit. They will try everything it takes to take the deposit and charge you extra for things that the complex should be responsible for. They define normal wear and tear as 3 years. So if There's a minor mark on the wall, they'll charge you for it. Also, they will charge you for them cleaning the blinds and shampooing the carpets. Things that a landlord should normally do before renting out the space again. They don't want to expend any of their dollars. Just yours!

Also, here is a helpful tip. For those who are moving out, they won't let you know the paint color. They (------ and staff) will give you the run around and BS stories so that they can charge you for repainting the place. Luckily, I found out this information on my own and wanted to share! The paint color is: Pearl White. Purchase this paint at Dunn Edwards on La Cieniega going towards Fairfax. They use Pearl White (flat) on all their walls. For kitchen, bathroom, and doors, they use the same color but in semi-gloss.

I would never want anyone to go through what I went through. Please look at other options. You can find better for the amount they're charging at the Heights.

The tour was wonderful, and the agent answered all of my questions in detail, and was patient while I toured each Aad. The guard was also courteous and patient. The pools looked inviting.

Your maintenance requests will never be answered. Community equipment is never fixed (i.e. Of the 4 washers and dryers they have for two buildings to share, 2 are always broken.) I don't know who they paid to give them an elevator permit. Look elsewhere for a Ppot to live.
