Place is a bug infestation they can't seem to get under control disgusting roaches and paper thin walls they took the carpet out from the hall ways so now u can listen to everyone in the halls walking n talking thanks parkwilshire!! If u like listening to ehat ur neighbors are watching on tv and bugs that exterminators can't get under control move to this Apace

I have lived here almost a year and it has been a year of hell. I can't wait for my lease to be up so I can leave. You've got roaches, the water is swampy, and the new managers are rude and insensitive. I have never had any heat and they don't care. The elevators don't work and they are blaming the DWP even though the DWP says There's nothing wrong. don't MOVE IN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I feel like I've been raped. They never fix anything and the managers are never in the office. It always seems the person that can help you is unavailable. It's just a ploy to get rid of you. I'm still waiting for heat, 11 month later! Laundry room sucks. If you want to rent here ask a tenant. You will get the honest opinion. Nobody like the managers.

The Anit quality is decent.<br>It's an old Btructure, and some renovations have been done here and there, but still, It's an old Btructure.<br>Parking has been the worst feature of this Anit since you have to cross Wilshire Blvd and about 1 1/2 block to get to the parking lot reserved for Park Wilshire Apts.<br><br>There appears to be lots of comments on which managers are better: previous or current.<br>Previous managers were extremely friendly to tenants, and I never had problems with them whatsoever. They were always willing to help. I only lived here for a year, but I can tell that they working ethics is laid back and yet legit, which I consider as a great things since you don't really hesitate to talk to them, and they get the job done. <br>But one thing you should keep in mind is that they are not the ones making decisions on investing money for renovations. Their job is to maintain tenants happy and keep this place as It's, such as being in charge of fixing broken stuff, maintain rent payments up to date, basically keep this place in one piece. Stuff like new painting, better elevator service, new carpets come from upper mgmt, and if they don't want to do it, then that's the bottom line. It doesn't matter how many times the manager report to them, if they say no, then it's no. So let's make a clear distinction on who to complain about such issues.<br><br>New managers are not as friendly, but their company itself seem to plan on investing more money than the previous owners. I think the new managers are also legit and they get the job done. I once had electricity problem on a Saturday, and I reported to them in the morning, and the technician came in the afternoon to fix my problem. Two elevators are working, new paintjobs are in the process, and higher Anit maintainance are into effect. But you get what you give. I am sure that the rent price is going to go up accordingly.<br><br>Bottom line is, you get what you paid for. Don't blame the managers from the past or present. ---- and --------- did their best on what they could (you guys rock!), and current managers are also doing their best within their reach. This is donwtown LA. Unless you plan to pay over $1600 for studio or $1900 for a besdroom, or $2500 for a two bedroom, don't expect to live in a first class Anit. For the price, I think this place is decent, and I worth checking out.

Ok... I have lived here in this building for going 9 months now. The building has to elevators and since I moved into this building one out of the 2 elevator was always broken and on some days none worked. Currently we are using the freight elevator the problem with That's that the people who live in the building are so self centered and inconsiderate of others. The problem with the freight elevator is that the doors are manually closed so people tend to leave the doors open on there floor therefore not letting anyone else use it. So with that said there have been times that I have gone grocery shopping and had to haul the groceries up 6 floors just because the elevators were not working or the door were left open on one of the upper floors. Estimated time of repairs is 3 weeks.<br>Now... for the plush Anit that they talk about on the rent sites... Interior wise they are cool apartments with crown molding and subway style tiles but it's kinda hard to enjoy when at least my unit's got a slight roach problem and it's not that my place is grimy I clean my place and wash dishes daily but still can't get rid of the roaches.<br>I guess it's a bit late to complain about this, seeing winter is almost over and all. Heat after numerous complaints about the heat not working and promises that the problem would be taken care of but nothing has been done. After complaining about the 3rd time a portable heater was supplied to us while they fixed the heater. By the way the complaining about the heater has bee going on since December, it's now Feb. 21st no heat. The Last time we told mgmt about not having heat the swore that the buildings heat was up and running, after telling them not so they sent the repairman to take a look and no kidding the repair man came up to check the heaters in my Anit he said "yeah you have no heat" that was that nothing further has been done.<br>The area isn't the best but that's no fault to Park Wilshire... The area does tend to get pretty loud during weekends do to all night raves and party's across the street but now a days it doesn't happen like it used to 2 times a month was on average. There's plenty of filming that go on making it difficult to park and sometimes leave the area do to road closers. One last thing when it comes to the area and road closers during the area tends to have a problem with the city issuing out permits for street festivals and fair, good luck trying to get leave the area when a festival is going on...<br>Parking is an issue when it comes to the building. It only has about 30 parking spaces and it has something like 220 - 230 apartments and recently mgmt evicted virtually everyone from there parking spaces and offering parking about block away for $50.<br>If you are planning on moving in to these Anit please consider the above because if I knew then what I know now I would never have moved into this place. The old mgmt was better; ever since the building was sold things have changed for the worse even though they might think they are doing better than the previous owners. It all comes down to people being happy about where they live but I have noticed something in the recent months it no wonder why plenty of tenants have left the building.<br>

Absolute Woorest, they never answer the phone or get back to you. Two young people work the office and are unprofessional and unreliable and LIE about everything. You've got roaches and most of all BEDBUGS, I got my last month refunded because of this and they have a "fake" supervisor who they can never reach and who is just as Woorest. DONT MOVE HERE period!

FIRST OFF THE NEW OWNERS SUCK, THIS PLACE IS GOING DOWN HILL. THE OFFICE IS CLOSED ON THE WEEKENDS SO WHEN I HAD AN EMERGENCY WHO THE ---- WAS I SUPPOSE TO CALL. AZAR AND STEPHANIE WERE ALWAYS IN THE OFFICE, THEY WERE ALWAYS THERE TO HELP US WHETHER IT WILL BE WITH OUR APARTMENT OR SOMETHING PERSONAL. THEY ALWAYS HAD AN OPEN DOOR POLICY. WITH THESE NEW PEOPLE THEY ARE COLD AS ICE AND PROBABLY JEWS SINCE THEY ARE NOTHING BUT MONEY HUNGRY. ALL THEY DO IS TALK ---- ABOUT HOW AZAR AND STEPHANIE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT LITTLE DO THEY KNOW AZAR AND STEPHANIE RAN THIS BUILDING SMOOTHLY WITH NO PROBLEMS. THEY ALWAYS RENTED AND WERE ALWAYS ON THE GROUNDS. NO THE FEELING IN this place is LOST AND EVERYONE IS PISSED OFF ABOUT THIS CHANGE. IF THIS COMPANY WAS SMART (WHICH THEY ARE NOT) THEY WOULD OF KEPT ONE OF THEM IN THE OFFICE BUT THEY ARE STUPID AS ----. SO WE PLAN ON MOVING TO WHERE AZAR AND STEPHANIE WENT TO. SEEMS ALOT OF TENANTS HERE ARE GONNA GO WHERE THEY ARE.<br><br>---- THESE NEW PEOPLE.

I lived there for my year lease from 2007-2008. The mgmt is absolutely the worse. My car got damaged in the parking lot due to a late night club That's open to 4 am, 20 plus cop cars came to shut down the club one night. I had horrible roaches in my Anit and in the computer lab. The computers never worked, the weight room equipment was always broken. I also went an entire WEEK with out electricity, due to them bringing in non certified workers to work on the electric. My fridge went out twice and I lost all my food both times. And now they took my entire deposit and said I owe them an extra $300 dollars for repairs. My place was in perfect condition and when I did my walk through, the manager signed off that my place was in great condition (thank God I took pictures and will be taking them to court). They are SLUM LORDS and will RIPP YOU OFF! They also don't supply ANY heat in the winter and haven't done so for 8 YEARS, but continue to lie that they are getting it fixed!!!!!!!!

NASTY PLACE *BEDBUGS,ROACHES, BAD LANDLORDS!* please don't move here, it will be the biggest mistake! I think this place should be shut down! The building was from the 1920s with alot of history behind it but the two air heads working in the office Ana and Eduardo don't keep up with the building and take forever to fix anything inside your apartment, the elevators constantly break dogs pee on the building and nobody cleans after there pets. It smells like urine, they have infestation of roaches and bed bugs, I've met people who've had them like me & others who haven't. Why chance with luck? This place is "cheap" no its actually pricey for the dive experience your going to get. I finally leaving after hell & I hope this place gets shut down soon. Oh & the washers and dryers cons-tally need to be fixed

This place is Rruly nice but the staff here is disgusting!!!! I have a friend who lives here he is a cancer survivor and gets treated and made fun of on a daily!!!!!!! Don’t move here! The staff should get sued!

Pros: people here love dogs. I never ever hear my neighbors only outside noise which i don't mind. cheap rent for clean nice Alat. nice 1920's building with pretty lobby and landscaping. Security guard. Area is improving even though It's next to alvarado. Free parking. Pretty surroundings. only saw a little roach once but they have regular bug extinction if you schedule it. big laundry place. gym That's never crowded. love Korea town kitchens are brand new. etc... cons: dim gloomy halways but clean. elevator is slow. carpets not wood floors. (but nice clean Berber)
