Although the actual apartments are quite nice on the inside, this place is still over priced for what you get. Don't be fooled. The mgmt is hard to deal with, treat you like you're not a person. little respect for the amount of upkeep this Broperty gets. They should really pay people to live there, it's that bad. The halls smell of trash, I had an ant problem that wouldn't go away. There was no heat until two months ago. You've got two elevators, but the only one that works is the service one. Although it looks like There's work being done on the Broperty the residents have yet to see any change.

There was a shooting in the neighborhood less than two months ago. The parking lot is crowded and It's hard to get to your spot because people park illegally on the sides of it. but It's even worse if you are not in the lot, you have to park in a sketchy parking garage a block away.

If you don't mind sirens keeping you up at night maybe this is the place for you. I worth checking out looking elsewhere.

This place is a serious nightmare; the mgmt is a joke; the security is a even bigger joke. This place is a historical building with a vast history of hollywood and fame. To be left with the stench of trash and dog feces. Any vehicle can come and park in the lot and crash into other cars and the mgmt won't do a thing about it. People from other buildings come and steal and the so called security guard sits on his fat butt and just watches them. Eduardo and the female manager are no smarter than a 7th grade educational level and the mgmt of this building allows them to manage it. It's unbelievable that the building codes in this place are being violated everyday. If the Los Angeles County came in and looked into this place they would be paying alot of violations. The maintenance in this place is so disgusting; there was dog feces in the elevator for an entire weekend. People just throw away thier dead animals in the trash....OMG The outside of this building is always grimy, no one ever cleans. It smells like grimy dog and urine throughout the entire building. If I were the owners of this property I would fire the 5 year olds managing this place and hire real adults who know how to manage property. Restore this historical building back to it's glory and start making money for this place instead of costing the owners money. Especially the extras Eduardo like to put in his pockets from the tennants as well as the female manager. Wonder if the owners know about those little perks...

I recently moved to LA from Detroit and looked at probably 30 locations when trying to find an apt to live in. The Park Wilshire is a awesome spot to live I enjoyed the 8 months that I was there and was sad to have to move out. I never had any problems with mgmt as a matter of fact I found the two girls in the office to be pleasant and helpful. I had maybe one maintenance problem, I put in a request and it was taken care of in a timely fashion. I never had any bugs in my apt, yeah the hallway rugs are in need of replacement but during my time there they did have them professionally cleaned. Ill admit the are around the apt isn't the best of places, There's not much to walk to but I never had a problem with anyone. I parked my car in the garage a block away and was happy to be able to do so. Never had a problem with my car being parked there, and the walk was fine. I moved because a friend needed a roommate and I had a six month lease which allowed me to get out. I loved my corner apt it was quite bright and had a great view. I moved out on the 30 of last month and actually got my security deposit today in the mail. The only deduction was for some touch up with the paint work, no complaints. If you did not get the same back You've got reasons for it. So it did not take that long which some people are complaining about.

New mgmt IS horrible. But old mgmt was equally as horrendous. Azar and Stephanie were lazy, condescending moody slugs who accomplished nothing. Maybe our new dictator Phillip will at least fix the elevators? Lets hope for the best. This building is overall fairly clean, quiet (except if you face Wilshire blvd) and only equally as not worth the price as the other local Auite complexes. Not much space for your $, but closets are spacious. Don't count on available parking...and yes, this building is OLD, OLD OLD!

I lived here for most of the year and moved out this fall because of BEDBUGS. They are in this building and they are REAL. The 3 units around mine had bedbugs as well & when the tenants moved out I knew something was up. I informed mgmt of the issue & they acted as if I was making things up, but when I showed them bites & when a family member showed them bites (that had to be treated by a physician) they did get someone in to treat my unit. It was treated twice but by then I did not want to deal with "waiting to see if treatment will take effect". I got out my lease easily enough because I believe the mgmt knows there's a bedbug infestation. The sad thing is they refuse to do anything about it. This is a historic building and would be perfect if current mgmt was quite frankly, fired. I have scars on my arm from this bedbug issue and I should have been reimbursed for everything related to it, but I'm just glad I got out before I had to get rid of more furniture (lost a couch & an arm chair). A few more things. The mgmt at this place NEVER answers the phone. Even after several messages, you'll be lucky if someone calls you back. Also, they are quite shady at disclosing information and act as if they are better than the tenants that live there. If they cop a bit of an attitude, just get one back. Oh yes, I'm still waiting on my security deposit (after 3 months). To save yourself a heck of a lot of trouble, just DON'T MOVE IN HERE. Keep looking elsewhere, you can find so much better

Oh, my. This place is terrible. Too many criminals live here and the leasing agent loves to let them in. She has been catering to them for too long. I can't begin to describe all of the crime that has happened this year; sexual assaults, burglaries, working girls all over the building, fires, car break ins, tenants losing their minds and destroying the building. It feels like a halfway house for newly released felons (there are plenty living here) and an insane asylum. My neighbor hasn't paid rent since the beginning of Covid in March 2020 and they cannot get them to leave because it is a rent controlled building. Also, the people in the office never answer the phones or return emails. Lashelle rarely opens the door on Saturdays when she works alone and she is playing with her puppy. The tenants are next level crazy. They wander the halls like scenes out of the Walking Dead. They steal everything that isn't glued down. They are very aggressive and beat people up for being near them. It is really like a prison atmosphere. I have seen men playing dice and auctioning off young women to the highest bidder.

I've been living here since 2019, they've gone through so many different managers. Nothing gets done around here. The elevator is always broken. There's 2 elevators and the other one has been out of service for at least 6 months. Packages get stolen all the time, the water is turned off at least once or twice a week. The trash area is disgusting and has roaches and rats in the premises. I've asked for a refrigerator replacement back in July of 2023 and It's now January 2024 and I still haven't gotten the correct fridges. I also had a gas leak and it was never resolved by their maintenance. There's no sense of urgency with getting anything done here. Ever since the new maintenance guy took over, nothing gets done at this Broperty and you're given so many excuses and run around. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the hassle and disappointment. This Broperty has so many issues and they're not being addressed.

I Wemained living here for 2 years. I left in July 2007 and went back to Europe. I still have not received my deposit $835 !!! I sent a fax to the manager - no answer. They probably think that if I am not in the US any more, they don't have to obey the law... Does a reliable company act like this?

They shut off the water once a week for 10 hours because they are renovating some units. Although they lie and say it's because of "emergency repairs" what Besidence needs emergency repairs every single week? The elevator break down all the time. The intercom hasn't been working for more than a year. The mgmt claims they fixed it but they refuse to add my name and phone number to it. They say we don't know how to use it so we can't add you. I asked for the corporate offices phone number and the manager didn't give it to me.

I've been living here for about 8 months now...& I'm not really sure what most of you guys are talking about but Ive never seen a roach in my apartment and parking isn't far. It does suck when I have groceries but it sure doesn't take me more than 5 minutes to get back and forth. I'm from New York and this is exactly what it's like. Sure you hear sirens but it's the city so it's expected. mgmt is okay they get work done quick and so far so good. I signed a 6 month lease and I'm going on 9 months... If I had a choice, I'd move in. Good Luck!
