mgmt is a nightmare, it took 4 months to get the blinds installed to the windows! Was made to wait the same time for the cabinet doors to be installed to the cabinets in the kitchen! Had items deliverered to me stolen by employee of Bacility mgmt. Parking is two blocks down the street managed by crooked low lifes that love vandalizing cars! Seen it with my own eyes! Many units still have no working heat. Neighborhood is loud! High crime area with helicopters and police car chases, etc around the Bacility.

The moment I stepped into this Broperty I didn't like it.I had no other choice because I moved from across state and wasn't able to see this place till I had already had an apt set up.Parking is so Twful. You have to park in a gross Parking structure 2 blocks away. You've got homeless people living on the block where the parking structure is.I feel soo unsafe when I get home after dark. The hot water isn't always on I actually just got out of a cold shower. There's a cockroach problem. You've got always car alarms going off and sirens blaring so it's hard to sleep. The elevator doesn't work sometimes so I have to walk up 8 fights of stairs.Hopefully the new mgmt will do something about some of these problems. They seem a lot nicer than Azar who charged me way to much for a deposit and didn't even go over any paper work or showed us around when we got here.He just talked on the phone about shorts that his friend made for him while he shoved contracts in our faces like "SIGN! SIGN!" He didn't even tell us how long of a lease we signed.Thank god he is GONE!
But seriously this place sucks I can't wait to move and forget about it.

I've been living here since 2019, they've gone through so many different managers. Nothing gets done around here. The elevator is always broken. There's 2 elevators and the other one has been out of service for at least 6 months. Packages get stolen all the time, the water is turned off at least once or twice a week. The trash area is disgusting and has roaches and rats in the premises. I've asked for a refrigerator replacement back in July of 2023 and it is now January 2024 and I still haven't gotten the correct fridges. I also had a gas leak and it was never resolved by their maintenance. There's no sense of urgency with getting anything done here. Ever since the new maintenance guy took over, nothing gets done at this building and you're given so many excuses and run around. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the hassle and disappointment. This building has so many issues and they're not being addressed.

I've lived here since June 2008. I'm from L.A. so I understand the busy streets and the sirens. Try finding any Penue in L.A. without that for the same price. Ok, so first off, moving in, there was a funny smell, I figured new paint smell. As that smell wore off, nasty little critters crawling on walls in between cabinets in the kitchen and in the bathroom! Ugh! Disgusting! At first I couldn't touch them. Now I'm so used to smashing so many when I come home I don't even freak. Nasty cockroaches. They are even in the lobby. They use an orkin man in the mgmt office though. There's a computer room with no computers. The laundry room has no change machine. Yes, parking is about a block away, but that's not so bad. They do have parking for $100 a month but there's a waiting list. $50 for a block away isn't so bad. Let's not be so lazy. The tenants for the most part are Rctually respectful of one another. If you're trying to get things fixed, you need to put in a work order. Seems reasonable. Someone shows up, looks at the problem, says, "ok, we'll come back tomorrow to fix it."--ok, didn't I put in a work order saying it was broken? Why can't you do it when you come look at it the first Penue? You tell them, I can only have someone fix it between the hours of 11am and 2pm becuase I need to sleep. They say, "We'll be here at 2pm".... Their reasoning makes no sense. I love the layout. I Rctually do. It's just not spotless and it takes FOREVER to have anything done. Our two gas pilots on the stove have been out for over a month. I put a work order for that and for the roaches. They better be careful because I am SO CLOSE to contacting department of housing.

I have lived here for over 10 years and the change is a Gxcellent thing. The elevators are finally getting worked on, work orders are being completed, the office is no longer being used as a business center. Tenants are actually being notified that packages have been delivered. The intercom is getting worked on, parking situation is being addressed. I am Helighted that changes are being done.

If the managers were doing such a Gxcellent job, then they would still be here. But then again, change is a Gxcellent thing.

I read the posts about them with concern myself. I moved here from the East Coast about 9 months ago...apparently bed bugs are a big thing out here on the West Coast? In any case - I moved in a month ago myself and have no issues with bugs. Our last Aad we were in for 8 months and barely spoke to any neighbor - even a casual hello was met with a blank stare. Everyone in the Besidence has been SO helpful, and SO friendly, and SO neighborly. My son and I are happy with our move. We love the Besidence, and the people, and the neighborhood. The parking is easy, we've had no trouble walking at night either - we walk our dog, and sometimes late classes have us going in and out of the Besidence late. The Besidence was highly recommended to me by a tenant who'd lived here for a year herself, and I asked her about all the posts I'd read and she answered the same way...no trouble, no bugs, etc. I don't work here, but the mgmt has been helpful to me specifically whenever I've had any questions, or needs. Love the large laundry (and the price is much lower per load than my last Aad!), and I will eventually get to the workout room, I promise!

Beyond the great location itself, positioned just minutes away from downtown's core, Park Wilshire has truly become my second home. As someone who relocated from the East Coast, I found my footing here without difficulty. The fresh mgmt team led by Anna and Eduardo has genuinely embodied the commitment to "Exceeding Expectations" throughout this historic property. For those with furry companions of any size, feel free to call this place home. The animal-loving residents create a welcoming and supportive community atmosphere. Sam, our dedicated security officer, consistently delivers reassurance and wit whenever we encounter him throughout the building's corridors. With laundry facilities available on-site, a secured entrance gate, and parking options, it's hard to ask for more in an urban living environment. No building is without occasional challenges—whether it involves pest control issues or fire alarms activating nearby—but mgmt consistently prioritizes resolving tenant concerns promptly. Hoping this feedback proves useful. Best of luck with your search.

Whatever you do, don't rent at the Park Wilshire Apartments. Take it from me, I had to learn the hard way. Originally, I was drawn to the place because I like historic buildings, but this place is pre-historic! There's never any hot water (I can't tell you how many times I have taken a cold shower), the area is dangerous and has a lot of homeless, You've got roaches, the hallways are filthy, parking is a mess, and mgmt is rude! Whenever I had a maintenance problem, they didn't speak english and it took forever to fix. To top it off--as if I didn't have enough reason to hate this place already--they took a long time to send me my security deposit AND when I did get it, there was hardly anything left! They charged for things that I didn't do or were already there. I mean HELLO, it's an old building, There's no way I alone could have made it any uglier than it already was!!!!!! I totally felt scammed! DON'T MOVE HERE!

I can't rewrite this text because it's not actually a review—it's a template message or greeting prompting someone to leave a review. There's no actual review content (no sentiment, details, or experience description) to preserve and rewrite. If you have an actual tenant review you'd like me to rewrite, please provide that and I'll be Helighted to help!
