This place is great but as mentioned before in previous comments the workers here aren't the greatest. Most of them are nice and do a great job but some not so much. Jorge is probably the worst of them all. He continuously makes snarky comments to the residents and he abuses whatever power he thinks he has. He's very rude and unpleasant to deal with. The plus side to this place is the rent is decent for the location but it also is a little older.

Lived here and couldn't wait to leave. The building is ok and the neighborhood is fine. The front desk staff is TERRIBLE. Half the time they are not there, all the time they give you attitude and they continually harass the tenants. If you want to pay a lot of money to be verbally abused on a daily basis then feel free to rent from here. The head management is really nice but they don't do anything about the rude front desk people and unfortunately they are the ones you see everyday. 4 stars for location, 0 stars for the rude front desk people with no personality and care for the tenants.

I love living at Wilshire Summit and have been here for two years because it's filled with mostly young professionals like myself. The management is amazing and the building is well maintained. The apartments are spacious and the rooftop pool and spa are great. Very convenient location to everything in LA! Only negative is that the complex needs new washers and dryers but that is starting to happen. Secure building and parking with nice security staff! Definitely recommend living here!

I lived here for 3 years from June 2012 to June 2015. I loved it from the moment I moved in. I was a student at UCLA Dental, and this was less than a mile walk to there. Located perfectly. Huge spacious apartments as opposed to the other areas near by like on Veteran etc. Very good staff, on site maintanence , would fix a problem within 2 days of reporting it. LOVED the roof top pool and hot tub. its the best part about the building. the weather and the view are perfect to enjoy it. I had a spacious parking spot for 2 cars (tandem). I have referred 3 friends already to live in the building . Would recommend this to everyone

DO NO STAY HERE. The building looked appealing to me and it was the cheapest choice in the Wilshire corridor but I admit it was a very bad choice. Management is shady, rude and incompetent. Laundry rooms are dirty and equipment is always broken. Perking smells like trash almost every day. If I had known better, I would have rented an apartment in a smaller community, locally managed.

They assumed we have more than two live here and come into our apartment several times without permission. I asked them not to do so, they argued that the contract allows them to come in 24/7. I didn't have the contract because they didn't give me one when I moved in ( I am a student and didn't have any experience in renting an apartment. I should asked for the contract). So I ask them to give me a copy; however, they refused and ask me to let my lawyer ask for the contract. What should I do.

The building itself is nice and pretty well-maintained. The location is perfect, close to UCLA, Santa Monica, Century City, and the 405 highway. HOWEVER, THE STAFF IS RUDE. Both the management staff and security don't have respect for the residents. One staff loves to cut in, and he really is not friendly at all. The security does not smile very often, probably two or three times in 6 months. Plus, they like to leave the front desk. The female staff is the worst. She assumed that we (1 roommate and I) have another roommate while the max number of people living in the unit is 2. So she told the security not to let any guest for us park in the guest parking area because there were (in her mind) 3 people living in our apartment (THIS IS WHAT THE SECURITY TOLD ME). She did that WITHOUT CONFIRMING TO US. They finally checked our apartment and found that there are only 2 people living in our apartment. Strangely, my boyfriend GOT a 3-night parking permit from the security, but then on the last day he found a warning saying that his car was going to be towed. WHAT A MESSY MANAGEMENT. It really pissed us off. We are offended and NOT continuing our lease (we have a 6-month contract). I'd rather live in a worse apartment building than in a nice building but bad management.

I will say that the management, Allen and Ashok are gentlemen. They have impeccable manners and do a good job. The walls are very sturdy and thick- so never hear a neighbor. Beautiful roof top pool with a jacuzzi and a wonderful view. I must say that many of the neighbors I have encountered are not super friendly-but if you don't care about making friends at your apartment building then it's o.k. Yes, would definitely prefer W/D inside apartment. Laundry here is uncomfortable, but if you have a laundry service, then it's o.k. The exercise room is adequate and they have recently added a beautiful flat screen t.v. with cable. I do find that there is not a real concierge service-you will not recieve help with carrying your groceries or anything like that- but they will call if you have a package waiting for you. The maintenance staff are nice and respectful and repairs are prompt.

Lived here for four years and was sad to leave! beautiful building, gorgeous rooftop pool and view, nice people, always fun people watching lol! Ashok the manager is really friendly and you can tell he cares about his job. He's just an all around nice guy. Alan is also a great guy with lots of stories. Some of the door men are a little on the "colorful" side but they just add to the flavor of the place. Rick can be stern but he's a teddy bear underneath. Not super great if you have small kids but a great place for 20 somethings. Only complaint would be if you get a courtyard facing apt you smell a lot of cigarettes and sometimes pot. I wish they would outlaw smoking in that building in general. But that's a downside of community living I suppose. Also to echo the other reviewer -- washer dryer in unit would be fantastic! there is definitely room for it and those washers on the floor were always eating quarters. Very responsive to repairs. Spacious rooms and very reasonable rent for the area. Miss it!

I've lived at 10600 for several years and I enjoy the building. There are pros and cons living here: The walls are thick so there isn't too much noise from the neighbors being heard. The pool and spa is on the rooftop which I LOVE. It's the cheapest apartment building on Wilshire and the units are spacious. Kitchen can be better, but it's definitely not bad. The tenants are in their late twenties to thirties and are respectful. There aren't too many families, so you won't have to worry about children playing in the halls are crying babies. It's a safe building with controlled access and concierge. However, I would prefer a washer/dryer in every unit rather than on each floor. It'll cost $2.50 for every load and takes quarters. The gym could be nicer and it's a bit small, however they have enough equipment to get the job done. The management team isn't bad, although they could be better. If something needs to be fixed, the maintenance guys are on it! There are also never any bugs (which I never thought I would have to mention but after reading reviews from other apartment buildings I feel I should mention it). The concierge aka security should be replaced. They love to gossip and are hardly downstairs at night. They aren't really concierge but more like security since they are also the ones that patrol the building. In fact, one of them told me they aren't concierge but are security lol. So, when you have guests over at night and they need to get into the building, be prepared to go downstairs YOURSELF to open the gate for them since no one will be at the desk half the time after hours. The concierge are there to monitor who comes in and out of the building and will call a cab when needed, but don't expect them to do much more than that. They will also make sexual remarks to the females on a regular basis. I'm sure they are playing, but it could get annoying.
