Jose promptly resolved a water leak in the apartment with professionalism and efficiency, and also identified and fixed additional issues during his visit. His attention to detail and proactive approach were greatly appreciated, and I am very satisfied with his service.

“Long-time resident warning: what used to be luxury resort-style living at Altis at Kendall Square is no longer the reality.” For years this place promoted itself as “luxury, resort-style living” and “the ultimate lifestyle with everything you need right at hand.” Unfortunately, that is no longer the reality. I have lived here for five years, and things changed drastically after the new management team took over. Here are just some examples of what residents are dealing with now: The pool is often not properly maintained. Leaves that fall overnight are not cleaned daily, and sometimes the pool system is not turned on, leaving the water stagnant and even turning green. This means the pool is not always usable. On weekends the pool may be open but the bathrooms are closed, even during community events. If you rent the pool shelter and the office staff decides to leave early (which happens frequently), you and your guests are left without restroom access. The pool hours say “until sunset,” yet residents are often asked to leave much earlier. Emails frequently go unanswered, and calling the office rarely works unless you get lucky. If you go to the office, staff are often “showing units” and may not return for 2–4 hours. Community events are scheduled during weekdays around 5 PM, when most residents are still working. It often feels like these events are organized mainly to post pictures on social media rather than to truly include the community. The Christmas event was extremely disappointing compared to previous years, with low-quality decorations and poor organization. The family-friendly, resort-style atmosphere that used to exist here has disappeared. Events now feel rushed, with no music or welcoming environment, and residents are subtly pushed to leave early. Many things now feel like they are done just for marketing content, not for the actual residents. The gym has no accessible bathrooms, so if you need one while working out, you have to go back to your apartment. There is a coffee machine in the clubhouse, but residents are not allowed to use it after 1 PM. It is important to say that the maintenance staff are still excellent and hardworking, but under the new management they seem overwhelmed and unable to work as efficiently as before. In the past, I personally gave this community my best reviews. However, being told that if my children need to use the bathroom while we are at the pool we must go back to our apartment because “that’s the new policy” was the final straw. This community is still marketed as luxury resort-style living, but the current reality does not match that description. It is unfair for new residents who expect what is being advertised, and also unfair for long-term residents who have lived here for years while rents continue to increase.

Excellent customer service from Gaby; very professional and courteous, and made you feel like part of the Altis family. The apartment was in excellent condition when we received it, and the neighbors are very welcoming.

So far we having been able to try the pool, gym amenities due to still sorting out stuff at the apartment but we like the space of the parking and the security around the place and also we can walk around the place

I moved in 6 days ago with my two girls and we are truly enjoying all the amenities. Brian from the front desk is the best so helpful, patient, and always on top of everything. The buildings are well taken cared of, and there is great security for the building.

The maintenance was quick, efficient and clean. I appreciate Brian for setting it up in a timely manner and the maintenance man for his great service. I am also grateful the the apartment management keeps extra parts on hand so that maintainer is expedited.

So sweet and on top of their job. I had an emergency over the weekend and maintenance was here with no issues at 9pm. My washer and dryer broke. They replaced it a day later, got a brand new washer and dryer. Same with my garbage disposal. Replaced it a day later. they’re the best.

Altis Kendal Square is a family friendly community and I believe RAM has done an amazing job at improving the community! The Maintenance team responds ASAP to trouble calls and the new office management is courteous and professional.

Move in process was easy. Email is the way to go. Nice neighbors but outsiders who live around the community ruin many experiences. They take up parking and use our amenities. Clubhouse closes earlier than posted. Staff is friendly!

This is specifically about Alberto’s amazing service! Our washing machine broke down in the middle of the week and we were so worried it was going to be a long process to fix! Especially cause we got a friend to look at it first and they said ‘oh no you have to change it!’. So we submitted our maintenance request and next day Alberto comes in and fixes it in less than ten minutes. Explained what happened put everything as it was and honestly it was so quick and efficient I was speechless! Amazing service!
