Only reason to consider living here is the location- all other comments on this Board are correct. They mislead you on items not in the lease, service not great, fitness room is dirty, sidewalks are complete hazard.

This place is not good....they treat you horribly. They dont listen to your complaints. They are so rude over here. They are not organized and they always make ur life difficult. They never reply to you or they never inform you of anything. They are so stuck up....and overpriced.... life is easier somewhere else...trust me. This is a very snobby building with no compassion for their tenants. They never have TIME to fix things that go wrong in the apptment. I am glad to be moving out of this hell hole!

The location is somewhat great but sometimes a bit loud. You should make sure that you do end up on the right side otherwise the view is not that fulfilling. Furthermore, if you are too low, the street and the drummers on the street can be somewhat loud and annoying. That said, do not expect any favors from the management. After the contact is signed you need to pay for everything you may need or want to adjust. Adjustments to the lease agreement are practically not possible. Extending only until the end of the month. They are not willing to negotiate if you may need a day or a week longer, independent if the next tenant is supposed to move in two weeks later. There have been several occasions (not only me but other tenants) who received additional charges when they moved in, for instance late fees that were dated back 4-5 months. I want to support the experience from another reviewer. You need to get everything in writing. Terry - the manager - tells you one day one thing and the other day another thing. Without have something black on white, the word does not count. Furthermore, things are portrayed more difficult in order to get more $$ out of you. Additional note: If you plan to stay one year and potentially are thinking to extend the lease, expect a significant price increase. In fact, new movers in get a better deal than you as a client.

DONT move there. We are sooo happy our lease at this place is finally over. It is a horrible building. The best thing going are the people at the front desk downstairs and that's it. Where to start...our heater in the living room does not work (which is awful for chicago), the dishwasher never cleans the dishes properly even after two washes. the building allows dogs which is great but the ones on our floor bark non-stop. worst of all is the staff. they are super nice to you when you sign the lease just to get you in the door, but the service just gets unbelievably bad after that. they figure they have you so that they can treat you however they like which is like replaceable chewing gum. bunch of people we knew moved out as soon as their lease ended and didn't renew. i suggest you don't even get hooked to begin with.
