Tenant Reviews for 900 S CLARK ST

We loved AMLI 900 since the minute we moved in. Everyone in the elevators are so friendly, the staff is always around with big smiles on their faces, the amenities are extremely well maintained and they're so dog friendly which was hard to find in the city. There's lots of free amenities that save on day to day costs - 24/7 gym, business center with freshly ground Starbucks and printing/computer access, conference room, rooftop herb garden, gas weber grills, pet-free green space, dog park and Divvy station. You can even rent out a "hotel" style room for a low price if guests are in town. Our apartment was super clean when we moved in, everything was in working order. When we're in our apartment we never hear anybody - but you can definitely hear people in the hallways.

It has been a great community to live-in, the amenities are a great perk living at AMLI. Being a coffee drinker, I love the fact that there is always coffee available in the business center. In addition, most apartment buildings charge to print, and at AMLI it is absolutely free, which I also like. The place is kept quite clean, is never in disarray which makes it pleasant. I do not have a pet, but AMLI does provide a doggy park and treats, which I think is cute. Overall, the amenities is by far the best part; it has great environment, 24hr gym, 24hr business center use and the availability of lounge on the top floor!! Love AMLI!!

AMLI 900 is a great community for people of all ages located in a great neighborhood. You are in walking distance to many great attractions in a wonderful city and there is a feeling of security in a large city. I am glad I made the move to AMLI 900 and look forward to many great years ahead as a resident with AMLI.

AMLI900 is a very nice conveniently located building with lots of amenities. Staff is friendly, polite and eager to make residents' life easier. I definitely have that much needed feeling of home here.

I have been living here almost six weeks and I love it! The place is super clean. I LOVE the gym. Every machine works, its clean, there is plenty of space and I love the 4 TV's and great sound system in the main gym. Not to mention the roomy and welcoming yoga room with the full size mirrors and the TV and DVD player. The staff is also super friendly. A big thanks to Megan for always getting back to me, and a HUGE thanks to Damian, Daniel, Michael and Alphonso for their warm greetings when I enter/exit the building, but most importantly for always keeping their awareness up and ensuring the building and guests are taken care of. Another big THANKS to the maintenance staff who is also great and resolves issues in a lightning fast speed! A bulb went out and they replaced it right away, one of the window blinds stopped working and they also replaced it the same day within hours. The free Starbucks coffee in the computer room is EXCELLENT! The view from the sundeck are spectacular and the community room is so trendy and super fun. I recently had my family over for a get-together and my younger cousins went up to the community room to watch TV and they had a great time. They kept raving about the HUGE TV, the super comfy couch and the awesome views from the sundeck. Thank you so much AMLI900. I am a very happy resident :))

Office staff is a nightmare. If you ask a question, they never follow up with an answer. Never gave me a copy of my lease, which I continue to ask for. Maintenace staff is great, as is the building overall. However, there is a 1 inch gap between the apartment doors and the floor, so you can hear everything in the hallway, and it can get very loud.

AMLI 900 is a good building in the South Loop with nice, well maintained units and amenities (except the business center). Let your leasing office folks be more on top of their game (more timeliness, less sloppiness and more telephone responsiveness) and I will change the good to great in my next review.

Amenities are usually not working, including internet/printer. Management takes a while to get back to you regarding issues, but if you're a day late on your rent they'll be sure to contact you ASAP. You can hear everything other residents say through vents in bathroom. I often wonder if there is a balcony that is not infested with spiders and other insects.

This has been one of the best apartment complexes up have lived in. From the easy move in, helpful door staff and lovely units, it has been a great experience. I would definitely recommend this Amli building.

Management is good about resolving serious issues right away. They rarely answer their phone which is a bit annoying. The apartment itself has a bit of a basement smell and moisture feel to it because of the cement ceilings. Other than that, it's good. I don't hear any noise, nobody bothers us, they give a short term lease and they accept dogs.
